New ego/510 type battery...Help : I'm stumped.

So I got this new batter that has a built in mini usb port in the end. Anyone come across these? When I plug it into my 510/ego charger the light stays green and doesn't turn red like my others. However when I plug it into my computer using the built in mini usb with a cable I had lying around, the blue ring lights up and the batt heats up slightly like it's charging.

Anyone run across this????

From what I've read, the eGo batteries with usb charging can only be charged through the usb port. If you can vape with it while it's hooked up to a usb, you've got a passthrough and can vape when you're charging so you're not stuck waiting. Good for you!

This is what I was wondering. So I can't use the regular 510/ego twist/screw-on charger?

The light on the batt finally went off so I think it's done charging.

I have a 650 mah Ego USB passtrough battery which charges from a regular ego charger too. It is Joye brand.
