My eGo Tank parts came in the mail from Liberty Flights and thanks to this thread I was already to do everything right that you all have been talking about.... First ten minutes ( PERFECT ----------- Smooth hit, smooth taste, good vape production, easy to fill for me, very clean and easy, and no juice in mouth, and no leaks yet.) I LOVE THIS THING....

Very Happy with this so far !!!

Edit: And yes the first fill didn't last long - this thing sucks through the juice fast !!!

Edit 2 ....... Loving this thing...... My juice is 555 60/40 from vaporrenu and it's perfect !!!!

Although I am a new member here I have been following this thread for a long time. I don't believe this has been mentioned before but I joined ECF today just so I could share this information:

Before you fill a tank for the first time I recommend piercing the cap in the atty, pull the tank back out and then fill via a syringe and needle. If you you take the cap on/off a few times it doesn’t fit as tightly on the tank and when you pull the tank/cartridge out of the atty the little cap can stay in the atty thus spilling all the juice on your shirt and table/desk as well as flooding your atty. Another way to avoid this is to always turn your PV upside down with the mouthpiece pointing straight down while pulling out the tank/cart. That way if the little cap stays inside the atty the juice will stay in the tank. I am going to super glue all my caps onto the tank so that doesn’t happen again! It must be Murphy’s Law that something like that happens only when you are running low on juice :p

I am not sure if I would put super glue on the end cap, although removing the tank in an orientation that will ensure that you dont have any spillage if the cap comes off sounds like a winner and a good habit to get into.

Super glue should not be a problem but probably won't hold on the plastic anyway. I use super glue all the time in my salt water reef tank, not an issue. Spray windex 15ft away from the tank and it will affect the tank with 10 minutes, corals lose color or close anemones hide etc..

This is only my 2nd day with the ego-T I got from Indyvaporshop.com, but I really like it so far. This is the first store bought PV I have used in over a year. For the last several months I have been using only LR 510 attys with my juiceboxes. Janty RY4 24mg PG juice is all I use. Compared to my old setup, with the Ego-T the flavor is better, the throat hit is as good or better, and the vapor production is less.
One would think with a new "toy" you would use it more than normal, but I seem to be needing it less. It seems to me the nicotine delivery has increased as well.
Only time will tell, but this unit seems to be a winner.

^^this^^ A few days ago I was on my 2nd day with the tank and found myself getting fairly loaded, which was a surprise since everything felt and tasted soooo much smoother than it did with the LR mega atty/cart. Of course I may have vaped a little more because of the convenience as well as chasing a little more TH. But now a few days later I am finding that I have settled in to being quite satisfied with the nic delivery and TH and I'm actually using less liquid than before. I really don't know if I desire a LR version of this any more, although I am sure I will try it...for the variance in juice sweet spots, if nothing else.

Between my wife and I we have 2 tanks and 3 attys in rotation and have not seen a single drop of leakage, not one hit of bad flavor or any feed problems yet.

I am finding I go through periods of vaping more (because of the much much better flavor) and longer periods of going without vaping.

Initially I didn't think I got enough TH, and I'm not one that likes much TH to begin with, but now things seem to be evening out and I'm not questioning it any more. I'm using it on the Tank, the Tornado and Inferno both PT and 1000 - am happy with all using this great atty/cart.

I haven't had any leaking and have filled the same cap dozens of times. Part of my love for this cart is the taste, the second is the ease of fill. If I have to resort to a syringe I'll toss on a new one rather than do that. I am, though, very careful putting the cap back on as it it oval shape and goes on easily if I pay attention to it.

I threw together a quick video on cleaning these in response to a bunch of requests. Your mileage may vary:

YouTube - cozzcon's Channel

Thanks Cozzi! Nice video, as usual. I cleaned mine using vodka; no problems with possibly dangerous fumes from Iso. I recommend drinkable alcohol, either PGA (if available) or the highest proof vodka you can get. Some people recommend white vinegar--economical but requires a thorough rinse with hot water afterwards and some drying time.

Having said that, I tried all the methods mentioned by you and by others in one session: 15-30 min alcohol soak (my favorite); boiling distilled water bath and rinse; and a quick dry burn (3 short, 5-sec bursts). It was most likely overkill, but my atty survived and is chugging along like new.

So far so good.

I like almost everything about this system: ease of use, clean taste, no burning fillers, good wicking and nice vapor production. I understand that high-wattage vapers may not be impressed, but I, luckily, never much cared for high wattage vaping, so I'm thrilled.

Oh, thank you, Ournature, for bringing this PV to our attention in the first place! Looks like a winner. :toast:

Hey cozzicon,
1) Side note - love the videos - been using your cleaning method since I started vaping and works great.
2) Your reviews and video sold me on trying the Tank (ordered from Cignot)(currently use TW batt with mega atty's and mega cart. Hope to get a little more ease of use and taste.
3) With regards to the tank, I am concerned about dark juices - I use VG based (AmericanLiquids) coffee's a lot and curious what you think or how often I should expect to clean it?

Thanks

Boy I'm not sure I can give a really good answer to this.

My concern with the darker juices (containing more sugars or solubles) is the same concern we have with more "open" atomizers like the 510 or the 901. The only things that should really leave a buildup on an atomizer (that cannot be removed easily) are the content of our flavorings. That being said....

You'll have to experiment. I've used Ecopure (VG based) with no problem. The issue with the darker, heavy, high flavoring juices has been noted by others.

Also, the newer revisions of these may wick better than the ones initially reported to have wicking problems.

The main point, as noted in my first atty cleaning video, is to get the garbage off the atomizer before it has a chance to caramelize and stick to the coil or foul the wick. I am cleaning my current atties once a week. This may be overkill given the light flavoring in most of my juices. Give it a week and clean and see what the result is.

That's my best guess. I'm sure we are all interested in what you come up with :)

I am using a quite thick mix of Oriental, tobacco and RY4 which is very dark and thick. 12 days now with both my 6 week old TAWA and my new atty and not one problem or need for a clean. It's all about a deep but slow draw and then resting the pv for a minute after 6 draws. I used to have the burning and wicking problems often, every cpl of days but for 12 days now have not had those problems thanks to being shown by Janty how to use this pv best. That is pretty conclusive evidence (12 days) that the change in my draw is the answer, as I have not changed anything else. Haven't even had to blow out any old juice in 12 days. No maintenance whatsoevever.

Simple.

I'm very interested in this jump in tech. However, I really don't want to go back to the eGo platform since moving up to my Omega.

This vaper's hoping for a standard 510 config with a round tip. I could try the double-reverse-adapter route, but that might look and feel goofy. A man can dream, can't he?

Here is the double adapter look! LOL Not so bad, to me.

Thanks for the advice and your observations - you do a great job of being the fair and clear "reviewer" guy!
Can't wait to try these tanks - will be curious to know how they'll stack up against the mega cart & attys..
Like others, I'll post a little something once I get rolling...

Got mine from Cignot today...

I'm done "babying" any of this stuff anymore...It's either gonna perform without fiddling around with it or I'll move on to the next new product...

Stabbed it with the atomizer...and filled it with a syringe....On my third tank refill.....No leaks...No problems..Performing better than anything else I've tried so far....If the atomizer holds up I'll be a happy camper...

We'll see...
