So air flow is in and around the coil in the ceramic cup, through the steel wick and up around the straight edges of the needle plate, right? There's some physical attribute to this tightening. Thoughts?

The air doesn't enter the cup and then go through the nickel mesh..... once it is turned into vapor it directly exits the cup and goes past the two flats on the piercing needle plate.

Usually when the draw gets "tight" it is due to clogged or semi-clogged holes in the ceramic cup...... or a problem with the plastic barrier plate that lives below the cup/mesh cylinder. That plate can become distorted by heat or partially dissolved by some solvents. "Gunking" of the mesh wrap around the cup can also "tighten" the draw to some extent.

very interesting pictures,
i'm wondering if the wicking fiber coming down the tube goes inside the coil spiral (one rope from the spike) or it just touch the coil/cup...

Although I can't be 100% sure... Joye has historically made their atties with two "wicks". One segment in the center of the coil, and a supplemental wick that comes from the bridge and simply "contacts" the outside of the coil. My suspicion would be that this is made the same way.

yeah i always thought the same.
So the segment coming down from the tube shouldn't go inside the coil spiral but just touching the outside of the coil, no?
if it's so, maybe you could be able to disassemble the plate with the tube and inspect/clean the atty (checking the holes in the cup etc..)?
then reassemble the whole thing...
maybe not so easy to do though :)

It's a very tight press-fit into the atty inner tube. It'll be hard to do without some special tools and/or skills.

My mouth piece "Tank" I will call it has moisture inside.... Anyone else.... Does not seem to dry. I know cleaning it will help but it's been been only two days so far. I did notice it yesterday but thought it would of had a dry clean look this morning? Other than the uncleanliness moisture inside I love this thing !!!!!

You're probably referring to vapor condensation inside of the vapor channel... right? Yeah, they'll do that. Personally I don't worry abut it at all, but you could certainly pop out the insert in the whistle tip and give it a good rinse if you wanted.

Yes I was referring to the vapor channel... It doesn't bother me to much.... So the tip piece comes of the whistle tip (the part that has the whole that goes into my mouth)? I was wondering if it came out like my old eGo tips that caught the condensation... I'll check it out with a paper clip! Thanks !

Just got my eGo-T and I am LOVING it! Great flavor from the very first hit. I was expecting the "new atty nastiness" but I got a great flavor hit.. yummm. One con on it... the slots on the atty are too big and the hit is a bit airy, but one of the slots can be covered with the finger when pressing the button and this makes it just about perfect.

This eGo-T is definitely a keeper!! YAYYYYYYYY

Edit: definitely a juice hog but seems to be worth it! No juice stuck in the filler!

I just got some atties and tanks yesterday and so far so good - eventually. The atties were dripping in primer, so much so the packaging was spotted with the stuff. Took my time blowing the primer out of the first one, filled a tank (the cap came off pretty easily using my thumbnail under it), put it on my regular Janty eGo batteries (650mah), gave it some primer puffs and tried it out.

It worked OK but nothing startling as far as vapour production. I got a dry taste after a few drags (I take pretty quick hits), so I tried slowing down my draws like Hotwire suggested. That helped a little but I still was getting dry hits. I filled another tank with different eliquid and tried it out and it was much much better. I used that for a few hours and decided to try out my 1300mah VGO batteries. Strange sort of fit but it went on but it butted up against the button, not enough to stop it working though.

Crikey! What a difference. Much more flavour, much more vapour. In fact it was now outperforming my CE2's. I don't know if the VGO would damage the atty (or affect the warranty), maybe somebody could enlighten me on that point please.

Anyway, I am happy so far in this earliest of stages. I got 3 atties and 10 tanks for around $50 here in Oz, so that seemed a pretty fair price.

One thing I do know is that this Tank system beats the .3ml Tankomizers hands down. I spent around $60 on that setup for a maximum of 3 puffs at a time before drying up. To look at them they are (virtually) identical, just on a different scale. I think the atomizer in the little Tankomizer was too efficient for the little spike to keep the juice up to it. Pity, cause they really were a good idea for the regular 510 batteries, and something the ladies may have preferred to the eGo-T's in public.

WOOT!!! I made it all the way to the end of this thread! It's been a few days since I started, and every time I've come back to read some more there have been another few pages added - ROFL :p

Quick question for you all. I'm trying to return to vaping after a bit of a hiatus, and am interested in these Ego-T's. Before when I was vaping I was sticking pretty much with the Nhaler line of HV Octane liquids - has anyone tried these liquids on the Ego-T, or have any opinions on how they would work? Not sure what the PG/VG ratio is in them, but if I recall they weren't the thinnest of e-liquids.

If not, are there any other brands that y'all could point me to that would most likely work well with the Ego-T?

i'm still having wicking issues with my TW tank atties. I can drip on them and they taste fantastic. The tanks just aren't wicking again. I've cleaned, rinsed, blown out (nothing comes out - they are dry as a bone), tried brand new tanks, thinned out the juice, nothing seems to solve it. The wick is clean, fluffy and white.

I just bought a pair from Cignot. If they work better i'll see if TW will honor the warranty.

I had TW atties and emailed them regarding the same issues you are having, they said since I was under the 28 day replacement warranty to send them back for replacement. So I sent them off yesterday

I have been using the same Cignot atomizer for the past 3 days with no other cleaning other than an occasional "blow-out".

You should have better luck with the cignot atties (at least I did)

good to know. i guess i should be happy they aren't leaking? they are adequate, don't get me wrong. i haven't used anything else since I got them in. i think there must have been a problem with the first batch.

My atty worked great for 8 days...then it is the dry hits or flooding. I tried cleaning it twice. I think I am setting this to the side for now and will try it again when I am bored. When it worked it was great. However, I would have loved this to perform better long term. At 16.00 a pop I would have thought the performance would have lasted.
