I just got some atties and tanks yesterday and so far so good - eventually. The atties were dripping in primer, so much so the packaging was spotted with the stuff. Took my time blowing the primer out of the first one, filled a tank (the cap came off pretty easily using my thumbnail under it), put it on my regular Janty eGo batteries (650mah), gave it some primer puffs and tried it out.
It worked OK but nothing startling as far as vapour production. I got a dry taste after a few drags (I take pretty quick hits), so I tried slowing down my draws like Hotwire suggested. That helped a little but I still was getting dry hits. I filled another tank with different eliquid and tried it out and it was much much better. I used that for a few hours and decided to try out my 1300mah VGO batteries. Strange sort of fit but it went on but it butted up against the button, not enough to stop it working though.
Crikey! What a difference. Much more flavour, much more vapour. In fact it was now outperforming my CE2's. I don't know if the VGO would damage the atty (or affect the warranty), maybe somebody could enlighten me on that point please.
Anyway, I am happy so far in this earliest of stages. I got 3 atties and 10 tanks for around $50 here in Oz, so that seemed a pretty fair price.
One thing I do know is that this Tank system beats the .3ml Tankomizers hands down. I spent around $60 on that setup for a maximum of 3 puffs at a time before drying up. To look at them they are (virtually) identical, just on a different scale. I think the atomizer in the little Tankomizer was too efficient for the little spike to keep the juice up to it. Pity, cause they really were a good idea for the regular 510 batteries, and something the ladies may have preferred to the eGo-T's in public.
