I agree. I do apologize if I left out any vital information. Some may call me crazy, but I've never had a problem dripping 12mg. Of course I can't drip as much as I would with 6mg, but I still enjoy both. But I also don't ever really go below 1.0ohm, so I don't think 12mg is too outrageous to drip. If anything has changed regarding me vaping habits I'd have to say...well I just enjoy it a lot more lol. This one bad experience isn't gonna stop me from vaping, or from enjoying vaping. That said, this experience shouldn't stray any new vaper way from it. I was just baffled. If this was my first time dripping 12mg, yeah I'd understand getting those symptoms. I try to always at least stick with the same settings no matter what method I do. 1.2-1.4 ohms at 12-14 watts regardless if its in the russian, or my drippers, so I'd say those habits are pretty consistent. The only other variable I could think of is that the juice is still fairly ripe. Was made on the 21st if this month, so maybe that has something to do with it? No clue. Yeah I've been in the game for awhile but I'm no vaping God by any means. I just know what I like, know how to set up what I like, and I enjoy the hell out of it. And at the same time, I know when something is not quite right. If any more info is needed just let me know. Don't want to leave anyone in the dark. :)

It could also be a sensitivity to other components of the liquid as well. I had the same thing happen with a couple very sweet juices from a very popular vendor. Several flavors and they all gave me instant anxiety attacks. This has never happened with any other juices and I vape a lot. After that I had some tests done and found out I have a sensitivity to aspartame.

I appreciate all of the feedback still pouring in! I have agreed with every single one. Not to turn this into an anxiety forum (which I'm too a member of ;) ) but I can totally relate to the "triggers" of anxiety. What is for one person, may not be for the other. Whether it was anxiety related, or juice related, I would be happy if it never happened again lol! As for throwing the juice out...ehh..I usually follow the straight and narrow and follow the rules, but sometimes I like to bend them a bit. Gotta live a little ya know  I spent the work day with this juice in my russian and basically slapped it around and said "I'm gonna make you my little biotch an we're not gonna have a repeat of last night. COMPENDRÉ?!" And all has been good so far..haven't tried dripping it since, but the flavor isn't too far off in the russian so I think I'll live. I think next time ill order the juice in 6mg so I can enjoy it in my drippers again. So for now, all is well. Now if there is a sudden stop in my posts..well you know what happened haha. Now...about the FDA wanting juice mixers to post all of their ingredients.....just kidding lol.

I developed and posted a simple procedure to test nicotine levels in eliquids back in 2009 that's the basis for the nicotine test kits sold by a couple online vendors.

Wizard Labs offers a test kit here for less than 10 dollars. It is sufficient to run a fair number of tests. Another vendor offers a kit here.

I'm partial to the kit offered by Wizard Labs, though one is as good as the other. I've seen that folks have gone so far as to post Youtube tutorials on using these kits.

No point getting lost in endless speculation when an answer is available on the cheap. :)

My guess would be a mistake in mixing, might be 36mg, hell, could be higher. Buy a nicotine test kit and test it.

This is one of the reasons I DIY and why I always test a fresh order of nicotine base. Humans just screw up sometimes...

This is also why I have a protocol of "nicotine first" when mixing to avoid such mistakes. When I first started DIY I had to throw out a (small) batch because I couldn't remember if I was looking at a graduated cylinder full of VG nicotine base or plain VG.

What flavor was it so I know to stay clear? lol

I have anxiety too and it's the first thing I thought when I read your post. Definitely not fun and hope it doesn't happen to ya again

Ill PM ya. I don't want people to think that I'm bashing the company, so I won't name drop in a post. But with you having anxiety I feel your pain.
