i got 10 of the m401 manual batteries and the air flow is horrendous, i get pretty much no air flow at all, and i tried a few of them, but my auto back on and everything was fine. Am i doing something wrong ? I was really excited to get these as I work in a loud bar environment and the auto would be on without me knowing. Very dissappointed at the moment, any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi cazzz, -
where your atty screws onto the batt- there are 4 channels on the atty-
thats where the air is drawn in-
on mine, -
there are no blockages, -
how does yours look ??

there is also a hole on the shoulder of the battery
directly below the neck containing the screw threads,-
which also assists airflow, the auto batts have this also,-
check this one for blockage also --

mine are all clear and my draw is a nice medium, better than the auto --
because I don't have to suck hard to activate a manual switch-

holes look all clear, tried this with 2 brand new attys, 2 out of the 10 i recieved have ok air flow, not close to the auto or the usb passthrough tho, and the others have little to none at all. U know when ya suck on the mouthpiece u can hear the airflow, I get none out of the autos and i tried even with no inner cart inside the mouthpiece and no difference at all.

We're proud to announce that the M401 has finally gone "manual".

We shall call it the "EM4" :D

The EM4 is compatible with the M401/M402/M403 and produces a surprisingly good amount of vapor for it's slimline size. It's stylish golden atomiser band and matt black finish along with Manual Button convenience will not disappoint.

Light weight and slim, a comfortable e-Cig to hold...
Power on Demand with easy to use manual battery...
Refillable with versatile dual charger convenience!

Well, I can assure you that my M401s and EM4 would not be recognised from your description!

Mine give the 510s a good run for their money (actually, I prefer them to the 510s because they wick properly, don't kill flavour, and just look infinitely better ;)), so it just sounds like you had one of the lesser generic ones (I have had generics before that were so wimpy I wouldn't give you tuppence for them)

I don't think heaven gifts ship cr*p so don't think that's the problem. I haven't had any complaints with them. And they look exactly like other pics I've seen of the M401. I've tried dipping too. Well, someone else can try 'em out for their first e-cig and see how they like it. I'm sending my kit to Sweden. :D I like my 801 with EM batts and attys. It's a fog machine!

You made me think, Angeles so I went looking... According to posts on e-cig forum, by people more knowledgable than I, the M401 from heaven gifts (Ruyan) are the true "official" Smoore units and not knock-offs or generics. Well, that's what I read anyway.

I love my 801 but it's kinda big for the car. Maybe I should get a shoulder harness for it? LOL

LOL...

I think it all boils down to 'horses for courses', and what suits one person doesn't suit another.

I haven't used an 801 at all, but from what I understand they are all about huge vapour and good flavour, but don't provide a that much of a throat hit.

Mabe the M401 seemd 'wimpy' to you purely because it didn't put out so much vapour as your 801?

I love my 4 series precisely because it provides a great balance between vapour, flavour, and throat hit, and so, for me, it's the perfect e-cig. ;)

(Life would be boring if we were all the same :D)

AngelA.. sorry about the typo. :D

No, you get a good TH on a 801. Really depends on the juice you use and how long you draw. I was vaping 36 mg and it was too much for me so I have stepped down to 24 mg/18 mg. Imagine that. Totally smoke free after 2 packs a day for nearly 1/2 a century. Never knew it could be this easy. I'm still in shock! :p

But I do want to say good things about EastMall because I can thank them for their terrific attys that my husband -who's been struggling- is finally starting to cut down on analogs. He's stated not to buy from anyone else. And I concur. WTG EM!

But I AM curious about the EM4...
