Tony,

Here is what FDA has sent us regarding E-cigs.

e-cigarettes may now make entry, PROVIDED:
There are no therapeutic claims, i.e. Helps to quit smoking
Actual manufacturer information is provided
Country of origin must be on the accompanying labeling and packaging
There must be ingredients statement for the nicotine extract
Please provide the manufacturer and if the e-cigs contain nicotine extract the ingredient list. We will send that to FDA for you.

too bad they are still seizing shipments..... saw on my facebook yesterday that electronic stixx just got hit with a siezed shipment.

I saw the post on facebook too. I'm just curious if the seized liquid included an ingredient list, as the OP stated was a requirement for allowing shipments. (That is assuming the info is indeed correct and accurately reflects the FDA's new position.)

So why isn't the FDA plastering this all over the news? It would make them look good.

Just thinking aloud, but say the FDA has agreed to allow shipments in if they meet certain requirements. This would seem logical since two courts have told them they don't have the rights to seize them in the first place (at least for njoy, but that does set precedent). That means they can still seize shipments that don't meet those requirements to the letter. What's the best way for them to continue seizing shipments? Don't publicly announce the requirements that suppliers must meet.

Oh , the bad news is
* Please note that any shipment held in UPS's warehouse after 5 days will be charged warehouse storage of $31/day and .02/kg. per shipment. At 15 days old all shipments will be eligible for General Order warehousing by U.S. Customs. Any shipment moved to a G.O. warehouse will be assigned additional warehouse fees, that must be paid in full before it can be removed. Any shipments remaining in G.O. for 6 months may be auctioned off in accordance with the U.S. Import regulations.
