Hi everyone!!! I'm new to the vaping world, I joined the site awhile ago lurked around, comment on a few post , because at the top of my page it tells me this.... Until you have made your first 5 posts, you can only start new threads in the new members forum. just the best way we've found to stop spammers! So I listen, then I see others with there 1st post as being there new thread ???? I've been smoke free now since 1/27/15. I was a smoker of 34 yrs. I had the help of chantix for 1 month . No I didn't get the bad side effects of it, I just told myself I've gone 2 weeks without a smoke I don't need a smoke!!! Well guess what when the pill was out of me I started to crave BIG TIME!!! So I found a good vape shop it took a few trys, but if I didn't find the shop that I found I would have been back on chantix with a smoke hanging out of my mouth again!! I currently use a vision spinner w/ kangertech T3'D tank. I would love to upgrade to something that would give me more of a throat hit a long with taste.I've been looking at the Eleaf Isticks 30w, but I see that there are a few different ones wich ones would be the best for a beginner, mini,10w,20w,30w,50w, and I need to know what tank to use on any of them, and what coils, so can anyone help me out on this? Oh and every where I've been looking Eleaf Istick 30w is out of stock a long with the 20w !! Thank You

Welcome to the forum shelly! I've found that throat hit is mostly an effect of nicotine content. There are certainly other variables, so this is entirely my personal opinion.
I would suggest upgrading your atomizer before worrying about the power supply. Something like an Aspire Nautilus (full-size or mini) will make a big difference. Then again, having a backup power supply is never a bad thing. :)

Hi, Shelly! Fairview Park, here! :)

I would go with at least a 30 watt device. That way if you decide you want to sub-ohm further on in your vaping jouney, you won't need to buy a 2nd device. Personally, I've got an IPV mini that works really well with my BCC's (sorry - bottom coil clearomizers!) and my sub-ohm built RDA's (rebuildable dripping atomizers).

Euphoria Vapor was asking 99.99 for a 30 watt device - got mine online for $50 - I'm not the biggest fan of Euphoria, either.

Welcome to ECF, hon! You'll find a TON of great information here...with a few hours research here on ECF (don't do it all at once lol...you'll go into information overload!) you'll be able to decide what works best for you. And there are a ton of people here (me included!) that will be happy to help you!

Hello Shelly and welcome to ECF. A lot of friendly people on the forum with loads of knowledge to share. I've been vaping for about a year and half. Started with an eGo kit and duel used up until about two weeks ago. I have picked up a couple box mods and different tanks. I have both a Nautilus and a Nautilus Mini and love them both. I do mouth to lung and have found the nicotine levels hit differently. Good luck in your vaping.

Here in C-town I found that Brick city is the best with knowledge!! And just yesterday I just went to L.A. vapes here in Parma Hts. That might be my next go to vape shop I see L.A. vapes has a huge selection of juices!!! I like that !! Brick city doesn't have a huge selection from what I've seen and tasted. Last night I ordered Istick 50 w for me and my husband, I got 2 Istick 50w 2 MELO Sub-Ohm BVC Tank by Eleaf 1 MELO Sub-Ohm BVC Replacement Coil (Pack of 5)
[Ohm Level:0.5 ohm] Grand Total: $138.55..... I had a coupon code for 10 percent off yr order !! I think i did pretty good, if I would of bought this out of a vape shop it would of been close to 300.00 or more for all that !! oh I tryed that Kalamazoo thats around here they suck no juice selections and over priced !!!!!

I'm all excited to get my isticks, and I'm glad that someone else on here has the Melo tank, and says that it works great !!! I'm going to L.A.vapes tonight and try some new flavs. I'm just wondering how do you store them? and how long do juices last ?

Juices will last a long time. You can store them in a cool, dark place, or in the refrigerator, but even just out in the open most of them will be good for years (keep them out of direct sunlight!).

Some folks have found juice that doesn't taste as good after a while, but many juices IMHO will keep their flavor and strength very well. I have some juice from 2011 which is still fine (well, it's pretty much the same as it was in 2011 - not my current favorite but still very vapeable!)

Welcome to ECF!

I got my Istick 50w yesterday !!! So excited !!! And it's authentic !!! Now I need to figure out how to use it ?? I got a melo sub-ohm BVC by eleaf tank with it,and melo sub-ohm BVC replacement coils(ohm level 0.5 ohm). While it was charging I watched some YouTube videos to figure out how to use it so I wouldn't burn up the coil, and try and understand how to use the air flow, and I was hoping that someone would explain what Ohms are, volts, watts!!! On the videos they were saying that the Istick will set it's self with a tank on there when you turn it on. I took a couple puffs, I felt no throat hit (12mg nicotine) then a couple more kind of harsh, but feels like I'm sucking on nothing!! Yes I was adjusting the air flow. I'm upgrading from a vision spinner. I need someone to explain,Air flow, what are ohms for,how volts and watts work !!! I've read other post where ppl burnt up coils, cracked tanks,etc... with the Istick 50w!! I need all the help I can get !! Oh I figured out something about the vape shops !! The other night my I went to one close by my house, was there for at least an hour testing juices, some had flavor, some had none, some tasted burnt, perfume, rubber, little to none juice in tank, some of the testers coils were clogged or were barely making the crackling noise to fire up the juice, and the battery testers weren't charged fully because 5 of them died on me !!! Got me thinking I'm always looking at juices on line to see whats good and ppl like so when I go to a vape shop I can try it before I buy it. Every juice I tryed that night had good reviews on line!!!! But when I tryed it at the shop I wanted to PUKE!!! Well the only thing I can think of is that the vape shops cut corners by not changing the coils, storing the testers not in the right atmosphere etc...!! And the best part about it this was my second time in that shop it was 7:40pm they close at 8pm they were rushing me??? then when I finally decided on a flavor they were out of my level of nicotine, and before I started I asked them if they had my level of nicotine in stock they said yes,so they wasted an hour of my time because I ended up getting the same vape juice that I've been vaping for 2 weeks!!!

The juices taste terrible in the shops their tanks suck and that little rubber tip they give makes them taste like rubber, i have asked the employees what they are puffing and if i can hit their mod most of the time they will let me with the little rubber tip on it. the sub tanks are a bit different i would say open the air flow all the way set it around 15 watts and fire it and when you hit it its like taking a deep breath straight to the lungs its hard to hit like a cigarette where you pull the vape in your mouth then inhale. have you tried Vapor revolution in brunswick? they are super cool they dont have a ton of juice and only a few premiums but their attitudes and coolness is what keeps me going back to them.
