I browsed a lot of these forums, as a matter of fact, I did a random google search for something something Michigan and found you guys. Could someone point me in that direction? I'd kind of like to start there, feels like home.

haha, kind of a funny response. Nothing really. I bought my first e-cigs today, locally, and those guys couldn't seem to find them local.
Ok, I think what I found through google was the social group forums/Michigan Vapers/Wake up guys thread. I have no clue why googlebot would troll that, but hey, it got me here.
Ok, so recently, me and a buddy have been discussing the e-cigs. You guys obviously know what you're talking about, we are both clueless. We've both known about these for about 6 months or more, myself due to the smoke shop across from the local bar, which is fairly close to my house as well. Recently, we've been discussing these, and 2 days ago decoded to walk across the lot and inquire about them. Besides, I needed some smokes. Well, he had no e-smokes. Won't be in for a week. What's weirder, he had no Marlboro UltraLights, no Pyramids, no, USAGolds, No Basics, etc. It was odd. I'm going thru the list of things I could smoke, while my buddy is in the porn section just laughing about the whole thing. He did tell me that his other store had the e-smokes.
So, I called a few the next morning. Which is this morning. Not to be racial, but I couldn't understand anyone I called. And nearly everyone I talked to seemed like they were in a hurry and late for a bus, and didn't want to talk to me. One guy, whom I couldn't understand, at least was able to tell me the brand of e-cig he carried was "gina". Yea, made no sense to me, I've been researching this for many hours and never found an e-cig named 'Gina'. However, if you google 'Gina electronic cigarette', what you end up with is a version of Smoking Everywhere Gold, Gina Lynn edition. I can't quite make the connection between the e-cigs and porn. Well, needless to say, I drove over there, 2 miles away to grab my porno e-cig. It turns out, the porn version of Smoking Everywhere is $10 more than the regular version, but he threw in a pack of 5 cartridges for free. He may have been late for the bus or a plane or something. But, hey, it has porn trading cards.
Meanwhile, my buddy buys e-healthcigarettes.
Keep in mind, neither of us know what we are doing. But, we do it in different cities, without talking, and basically screwing up the whole process.
His version has only 1 battery, and the whole thing is built in a cardboard covered cigarette box. Very weird, I've destroyed many of those.
Mine is very inconsistent in the hits it delivers. Hard to figure out if the cart is dead or the battery is weak.
So, that's where I'm at.

I just now watched the stupid DVD that came with it. Seriously not worth the $10 upgrade. I would really like to speak with the marketing genius that came up with this. If I were the the CEO of 'Smoking Everywhere', I would be firing someone.

heh... I'm not complaining, since I got the thing for the same price as the regular version effectively. But, if you have to pay the extra $10 to see some chick with only her top off, puffing on an e-cig, making gasping or exaggerated puffing noises, don't bother. That's the extent of the entire DVD. The 'trading cards' are just 3X5's of her either topless or not, smoking an e-cig.
I bet they paid rock bottom prices on the marketing, since there's also a poker version. I can't even imagine whats in that.

Bobnoxious, I'm a new vaper in Mich. too. Started a week ago. I've learned a ton in the last week. I bought a cheap-a** e-cig first too. After checking out the forum I was able to decide that a better place to start was with a DSE 901 or a Joye 510. Much better e-cig and you can refill the carts with juice. I got the 901 and now have 4 batteries, 2 atomisers and have a second charger on the way. I'm havin' a time keeping the batts charged. Good luck figurin' this stuff out. I'm havin' fun with it and haven't had a smoke for like 10 days.

You are right, and I plan to. Buying something local for the initial try out was what I was shooting for, and succeeded. I see the potential, and so does my buddy. We overpaid, we know that, but are not turned off by it, actually encouraged by the potential.
My next step was to try to order aftermarket inhalers, or try to refill my own. Or possibly try to take some advice on here, and order a good starter kit from somewhere.
Which I plan on doing in the next day or two.
I'd actually hang on to the "weird" one for a little while..since it's "limited edition" when it goes off the market there'll probably be some weird porn fan/collector that'd pay more for it than what you did...lol..
Made a small little mint a few years back when some company made some porn star action figures in a limited run..got some signed and sold em to the pervy collectors..
Heh. Good advice. I actually tried to talk my local smoke shop into stocking liquid. They don't seem to know what they are doing obviously. But I was also able to score 2 packs of High (16mg) carts. But talking to this guy was like talking to the humidor.
The high level carts worked well with my porno-cig. I'm not sure what came with it, to be honest, things are not clearly marked. However, the high-levels made it work for me. Lots of vapor, not sure of the nic levels, but I can do this. I decided to kill off the porno carts, and they say they are high level. This could be a coincidence, maybe it came with varying levels and I wasn't looking. Actually, maybe that's why I've been having issues. I bought the porno-starter kit, and bought a 5 pack of the cartridges, with the porn chick on them. They may be varying levels. There is a huge difference.

You just never know what they are going to do or say to mall people next. I read about one SE sales person telling shoppers that other ecig companies put librium, as in the prescription-only sedative drug, in their juices. Just never heard of all the insane things they do in any other company. Perhaps if they just sold a reliable PV...but noooooo! Seriously, just get a 510 kit from Cignot. $35 and it will be great. And get a PCC and USB PT too. You'll spend half of what the SE probably was, and you'll be in heaven. Oh, and get some juice too, of course.

Well, this guy wasn't the owner, just a worker. I have to hunt down the owner, which is probably the first guy I talked to. Most of these people have thick middle eastern accents, but all of them are very nice people. The last people that I think would TRY to rip you off. They just don't have any idea what they are doing. He never made any strange claims or tried to sell me on a particular type. Such as the sedative claim, which is pretty funny. If someone had said something like that to me while I was trying to buy one, I'm not sure what I would have done. After I stopped laughing of course. The worst thing he said was in the DVD she takes off all her clothes and tells you about the e-cig. Which simply isn't the case.
Anyway, having a little trouble finding an online dealer of parts for this SE Gold, which is an RN4081. All I really need is the extended cartriges, and maybe a spare battery and atomizer.
I have another friend that ordered the Vapor King from V4L, and I might go ahead and order that 510. So that will make 4 different models (I think), that we will be trying out here shortly. Not too bad for a weeks worth of messing around.

My minor quest to get someone to stock liquid locally pretty much failed. They'll probably overprice it anyhow. I can stock it myself. I'll run around in a trenchcoat with bottles attached to the insides. Complete with chocolate flavor.
