Hi,

New to the forums. Been lurking and using the information here for a few days to get a handle on vaporizer lingo and tech. Just ordered a Volt e-cig to get initiated. Almost got a prosmoke, and glad I found some genuine reviews after the initial inundation of "canned" reviews.

I tend towards high quality, modularity and user maintenance. For that reason, I'm really starting to look at the larger personal vaporizers with the variable voltage/wattage and a re-buildable/repairable atomizer. Still not sure how the terminology works for these types (i.e., genesis, hybrid, advanced, etc - I guess I'm still not clear on what are "brands" and what are "models").

Even at this early stage, my wife is looking at me like I'm speaking a foreign language! Trying to get her input on cartomizers, clearomizers, etc. She just said, "order me something that will work, I don't care about the details."
