Will warranty cover dropping my 18650? Tube has a small dent and deep gouges in the finish. It was a 2ft drop on a concrete parking lot. Button sticks a bit now to.

Sorry to hear it got dropped. A ribbed texture actually makes it stronger, not weaker, think metal culverts under the road as an example. Unfortunately, i'm out of any spare tubes. We can try to refinish it as best we can though for you.

The grooves are good for wide area compression resistance but not punctures. I will take it apart later and see if it's egged and catching my switch somehow. Knocking the high spots down will be about all you can do to refinish it but I can do that myself.

The unofficial response would be "a couple of weeks" (he said with much irony)...and...Welcome to the forum...

Mostly friendly folks around here...BTW, I said that to invoke a response from the "forum faithful". They know who they are....

Stop by often for heads-up on production status, new stuff, sales, etc... this is an easy way to avoid being "a day late and a dollar short".... You know the drill.
and don't you fret, David will have ALL your money in no time....
For example:
They are in between 180 runs right now, but the 145's are in "stock"(that being a keyword). It will hold you over until the 180's are finished. If you don't have one, you're gonna want one anyway.
