Hi everyone, I've just started this venture and ready to learn. So far I'm using a Blu disposable and a Cig2o mini kit rechargeable, but looking for something a bit more permanent. I'm intimidated by the ones you have to fill and assemble, but I realize learning more about them will take care of that. I am overwhelmed by the sheer volume of choices so will stick with what I have now while I figure out what I really want.

Welcome to the vaping seen!!! If you are going to stay with the cartos then you will be buying prefilleds. I would recommend that you move up to the Clearomizers and find a e juice you like. there are several blogs on starters....check out tasteyourjuice.com PB is good and sound advise.

Cajunsteaming Vape On!!!!!!!!!!:vapor:

This is not true. You can order cartomizers that are blank so you can fill them yourself.

Really, it is difficult to get the idea just looking at pictures online. Although, you are already vaping, so you actually have some idea how things work. A lot of people go from cig-a-like batteries to something like an ego battery. In all reality, outside of vaping better, they are basically the same setup that you are currently using except bigger. They are basically a battery and a cartomizer.

Filling your ecig with your own juice is better because it is cheaper and allows you more freedom. You won't be stuck with the one company's flavors and you have a whole new world open to you!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Bufitnut I am just up the road from you. :) Do you know of any B&M shops that are good about being helpful? While I can get some supplies here in Dayton I really can't get much help.
Bmace72, Johnson City is way way out of my area, but I appreciate the advice. :)
Cajunsteaming, at this point I have no idea what kind of system I am going to end up using, I don't even begin to understand yet what everything I am reading means. I do know I want something small and relatively easy for now. I don't have a clue what juices are good or what places are good to buy from. I am only a few hours into researching all of this, but I'm pretty sure I want something a bit stronger than 18mg. :)
Thanks Jazzi Mike, I really wish there was someplace close by where I could go and see how the ones you fill yourself work and just how big or small everything is.

I'm sure this will all start to make sense to me soon with a bit more reading. :)

Hey there! Nice to have another southern girl around. I also started with a cig2o kit, about three weeks ago, and now I have not smoked a real one in days! I bought a couple of back up batteries for now, and some juice to refill my cartridges (its easy, youtube it)

I am sure I will eventually get something fancy, but like you, I am intimidated, and have no idea what I might like! (or not like!)

Best of luck to you :)

Mountain Oak Vapors are in Cleveland and soon to be at Hamilton Place. Take Hwy 60 over to I-75, go north to exit 33, east over to Hwy 11, then south about 2 miles to a little shopping center on the right. They were very helpful showing me gadgets and how to use them.

Thank you for the information. :) I do have to admit to being a transplanted southern gal, I'm a bit old to call myself a girl, lol. It seems the more I read the more intimidated I get, or at least the more confused about what I want or need.

Thank you for the directions, I'll have to see if I can get over there and check it out. :)

Welcome from a fellow Tennessean. I looked up the Brick & Mortar store in your area and it looks like it's called Rocky Top Vapor

Welcome to Rocky Top Vapor

If you go to the store you can get a much better idea of what everything looks and feels like. Then come home and (probably) find it cheaper online.

Thanks. :) For some reason the internet thinks Johnson City is close to me when in truth it's a good 3+ hour drive.

I'll get this all figured out eventually, lol, I think I want to stay with something small with cartomizers for now, but preferably refillable ones. Being a woman I do reserve the right to change my mind at any time. :)

Welcome Claudia! I second Mountain Oak Vapors (soon to be in Chattanooga), and there's another good B&M there too, Vintage Vapors (they don't have a website yet). You should also check out the "Scenic City Vapers" group on Facebook. We have bi-monthly meetings in Chattanooga, next one is August 11th. Lots of friendly & helpful vapers, vendors, raffles & our fearless "leader" is none other than the famous Vaping Greek.
