Well I got perhaps too excited about all the money I was saving after the switch, and went ahead and spent all of that money on a couple new toys. Stopped in at a local shop (Smoque in Chicago) with the intention of trying their liquid. Came away with a Valkyrie hybrid RDA clone. The guy at the shop spent an hour walking me through building my first coil. Couldn't believe the difference when I tried it the first time. Stupid vapor! And it tastes so good. My EVOD tastes like nothing in comparison. The coil building looks like a neat hobby, and the dripping makes the ritual more to my liking. One thing I haven't seen mentioned: the guy at the shop told me it's impossible to use liquid any higher than 6mg on a dripper. I've been using 24mg so that means I can't use any of the liquids I have already. Kind of a bummer. But even with 6mg I can only hit the thing a few times before I get a nicotine buzz. I was sucking on the EVOD non-stop on 24mg and rarely feeling satisfied. I prefer the short sessions with the Valkyrie. (The liquid from Smoque is very good... I tried their RY4 and plan on trying others soon.)
The joyetech eroll came in the mail yesterday. Was looking for something to use in public that looked like a cigarette and let me use liquid. It's pretty impressive so far. Vapor at least as good as my EVOD. Form factor feels way more like a cigarette than I expected...it's very light. The charging case is smaller than I thought too. This seems like the perfect outside the house device. The downside is that the the flavor and vapor production is not too impressive after trying the RDA, but it's good enough. Hands down the best part is having 5 little cartridges pre-filled with different flavors. I picked up a bunch of flavors and I wanted to be able to switch quickly and cleanly but that was a pain with just the mini protank, and with the RDA I would need to change the wick. Now I can just switch cartridges any time I'm sick of the flavor I'm using. And having a little tin full of clear plastic tanks full of colored liquid...I don't know, it's very satisfying and science fiction-y to me. I feel like I'm an extra in Bladerunner.
Only 3 cigarettes yesterday, aiming for zero today. One day at a time, as they say. (I quit drinking recently and there are so many vapers in recovery, that's one of the things that encouraged me to give it a try.) Loving vaping so far.

And keep using the 24mg juice in them; there's not much throat hit with 6mg. I pretty much only use rebuildables but I do have an eRoll. Haven't smoked a real cigarette in 14 years but I do love that feeling of hanging it from my teeth sometimes.
