Most mesh out there is 304 SS, which is food safe and lead free. It's used for food related filtration so, there. I have no idea where "someone" gets 316 SS, which is supposedly superior, certainly more expensive, but both of them are just as safe.

McMaster-Carr has both types. looks like the 316 is cheaper for some mesh, more expensive for others.

There is 2 different 316's though, one is a 316 and the other is a 316L, 316 has .08 Max carbon content while 316L has a .03 Max carbon content. 316L has enhanced resistance to corrosion also.

If we could get a Titanium mesh, along with a Titanium wire this just might be purely awesome. They are now making a Titanium wire which there going to start using in Atty's and Carto's this could be very good, Tungsten wire is also very good and will work better then the current wire were all using.

Just outside my comfort zone.
I saw the Titanium wire being made in China, any from US?

@ grabeard,

I haven't searched for it yet, I'm sure its available ordering it from China, maybe Kanthal.com might be making it not sure, but they only sell big amounts and wholesale, I got a 5lb roll of wire from them and it was $250 and that was the least they would sell, I do have an account there so I'll check. They are the leader in making wire or one of them for sure. I'm going to look into it this week and see what I can find, if I do find it I will post it for sure.

I would also like to find a mall coupling nut that I could screw onto the Bras center poll with a screw on the top to secure the top wire, one of these = http://www.fastenermart.com/html/NT115-1102.html

I never noticed before you mentioned it but I tend to push out through the air hole until I see a nice thick vapor then I start to inhale and always get great hits. Definitely worth pointing out because it does improve the experience of a genesis.

Wanted to leave this tip for everyone that is new to Genesis types. Hope it helps. Cant figure out how to embed video on this site. Tried all options YT gives for the codes.

Hey, felt like wrapping a new coil and decided to go with 34A-1 this time. Wrapped a 3/4 that's pulling 3.1ohm that is killer. Not sure what other folks have found with battery life, but my Provari has been going through batts much quicker at lower ohms. I almost always vape 3.0ohm@5.2v for 9.0watts and this is really a nice setup for me.

270 Mesh looks to be the way to go if your a VG juice user or high VG Juice user, maybe even lower then 270 could be even better . For better wicking, less holes per square inch seems to be working better then more holes per square inch like the 325-400 has.

I use all VG or 70% VG and 400 mesh - I have no wicking issues and flavor is best IMO with that. I don't care for 325 - flavor loss, but more TH. I can't imagine 270 mesh. That would ruin my juice.
