MisterCombo21,

In regard to the th, are you lining up your wick with the air hole? I don't have mine in yet, but I have seen this mentioned. As to the other questions, I am sure the Operator will be able to assist you in seconds. ;)

Edit* dspin spoke of lining up the airhole with the wick to achieve maximal vapor, though I have read somewhere else about another genesis where this affects th--not totally sure though.

Have you tried adjusting the top nut on the center post? There was a post (probably in the 30's ;-) ) where someone said by moving it up you got more TH, by moving it down you softer/sweeter.

Thanks. I did read that the top screw definitely helps with the hit so I have the top one up as much as itll go.... I think with more voltage it should be great, but its odd that my LR cartos are fine at this voltage...I even recharge when they hit 4.0 to make sure I'm up there and not below 4. On my next wrap, I may try both of the nuts on the top, wrapping to center post in the middle as I think there should be enough room....
Any other suggestions anyone?

Yep, its definitely aligned perfectly... I did try unscrewing it a little to see if having it slightly to the side helped but it diminishes the TH... Thanks.

:toast: Thank you Jim, received my DID this AM and got right to work on it and I can't say enough about it. The Flavor is just the best. Here it is on my epipemods while I charge up some batteries.

oh god, I just mindlessly added a juice and cracked my tube :(

Jim, sent a question via the website's contact list about ordering more and have them combine ship with my DID shorty.

Need to stock up on them just in case I do another bonehead move like this...

juice in question: Ms T's strawberry lemonade... I need to memorize that list...

Piece of advice: my perfect coil popped :( Basically, for some reason, I had decided to follow instructions for once and I wrapped the bottom coil from the inside, not from the outside, and what ended up happening is it shorted to the center nut. It popped with a loud crack and I was real happy I was using it on a ProVari, although the error code kicked in a millisecond too late...

Anwyay, since I was out and about, I realized if I took that hanging lead and tucked it over the top cap threads it worked. It still works. Is there a reason to not continue to use it like this? Again - the bottom lead makes ground contact by being tucked over the top cap threads and secured by the top cap itself. I lost ~0.1 Ohm only and it vapes great. Any opinions? I'm sort of lazy...

I assume you have the clear window by Kir Fanis. I''m curious, how much time did it took for it to crack? I vaped The Perfurmer's Apprentice - Mountain Dew for over 12 hours, no problem, as soon as I finish this delicious pear vape, I'm going to put LorAnn's - Lemonade in it, I don't care if it's going to crack, I have the stainless steel tank to replace it.

Question for DID users: What are some of your perceptions in the way flavors come through with The DID? Did you find yourself not liking flavors that you previously cared for? Did you begin loving flavors that were previously so-so?

edit** I asked the same question twice. :p

I like sweet flavors more now in the DID, I went from 24 nic to 12 nic when I started using genisis. Flavors I didnt think were that awesome, now are in the DID. I just dont care that much for my tobacs in it. I do however use my tobacs in my other rba's.

I can see how that would work but I'd just make a new coil if it were me. I can get one done now in about 2 min's and that's likely less time than the fiddling you might have to do in its present state with the ground wire sandwiched between the top threads. Particularly during refills.

Do you have the same problem as me - is your cap very hot? I'd like to know what I am doing wrong. My setup is 1.6 ohm on variable voltage 3.5 - 4.0 V. I tried also 1.3 Ohm. AFAIK I have not hot spots. I have DID with transparent tank.

Mine can get hot if I chain vape like crazy, but it rarely happens. I vape 3.2-3.8 at 2 ohms, so with your setup it can go hotter. Just don't touch it and (probably) don't use a metal drip tip and you'll be fine.

Funny you should mention this now; today was the 1st time I've filled the DID with something other than tobacco juice. The sweeter juice I was previously using with my Phoenix bottom coil that I thought was 'pretty good' has now gone to WOW in the DID. I will definitely be needing more DIDS :)

A ground is a ground. Only concern I'd have is if would do any damage to the threads. That and would be difficult to nudge a hot spot if one shows up. Nice "MacGyver" fix, one to remember for when whilst out-and-about.

Pretty immediately (maybe 5-10 vape), what I am not sure of is if I had weakened it before and just didn't notice... I am pretty sure i had put this juice in before, but looking at pics I took last night, I don't see any issue with the tube.
