With my new DID on the way and this being my first Genesis I'm wondering about the throat hit. I am vaping 24 mg juice right now and enjoying it but will this be too much in the DID? Have most of you lowered your nic level when using a Genesis style atty?
Thanks, Scott

A fine first effort Dusty!
The DID withdrawal symptoms are BAD today! I hope my mailman arrives soon with my post so i can build my DID up again!
Awesome Dusty! Gotta ask, did you use the rolling paper method, drop in wick or straight wrap?
Hmmm. Has anyone found a clear tank for the Mini DID that will fit yet?

Hey, I've been sympathizing with folks with broken posts. I would always replace with the right stuff from Jim, but started thinking about a short term work around. I haven't done this yet (haven't been to hardware store to buy), but I measured the center post hole and a 1/16th inch drill bit fits perfect. I looked online and Home Depot sells 1/16th inch brass welding rods. I was thinking it may be possible to either use a vise or a ball peen hammer to flatten one end a little and then bend it 90 degrees to make an adhoc positive pin. No easy way to get threads, so could stick through center post holes, cut-off to length and use the post wrap method.
Less than ideal I know, but may at least work till USPS finishes their 27th cup of joe....
Couldn't have done it without you.. Thanks for the loan of the mesh and wire.![]()

Sounds like it could work. What about a brass screw instead? Wouldn't that give you the threads needed to screw the nuts onto, as well as the head of the screw could act as the positive post at the bottom?
Something similar to this.

I think it would work. I looked, but I couldn't find a 1/16th (I believe that's 1.2mm) brass screw long enough. I found some that were way to short made originally for the inside of electrical switches.
May need to file the head flat enough to allow the DID 510 connector to screw into the PV (2 mins with a hand file or dremel). I don't have any way to figure out the thread pitch, so don't know if stock nuts would fit. I'm sure if someplace sold the screws they'd have some kind of nut that would fit.
That makes two of us. I woke up to a "shipped" notice too. This is for the full size version, ofcourse.![]()
