@Classy, love the Provape+Mini. It looks very, well, "classy".

I didn't realize they were so small (14500 batt). Definitely looks like they were made for each other.

It does make a nice match. I started out with a pink ProVape...gremlins moved into it...and after several back and forths they decided to replace it.
(hugs to Kenny !)
They don't do the colors anymore & they are steel now instead of aluminum...so it is a hefty piece.

I love the mini DID on it !

edit...I forgot ! ASH !!! That looks great !!

Todd recently reviewed his Mini DID! Of particular interest, is he starts from the very beginning, putting the 0-rings on, and finishes with a link to RW's tutorial. :) He says that after he got it going good, it hit just as nice as the HF!! (that's quite a compliment!).
He is not crazy about the monogram, but to each his own eh. I wonder if Jim will be providing both choices?? Monogrammed and plain? I love the MM myself.

I agree Uma - engravings make it more classy for sure

And just for curiousity, I repeated putting the screw in the fill hole. Vaped well for 30 minutes or so. Then seemed like it didn't wick well and brought metallic taste. Removed the screw, and back to vape zone.

Glad you took it back out. IMO everyone should toss it in a drawer and leave it there for a spare. Taste and vapor much better without fill hole screws in any genisis.

Nice setup Ash! I love my epipes. Only wish my money tree in the backyard would grow a little faster so I could buy a few more...and a provari...
Little update on my own experiences with the DID. I was having a bit of trouble getting significant vapor for the first 3 days. I had pretty much solved the hotspot issue, it seems that once you get the "tricks" down it becomes a lot easier. However even with no hotspots I was getting mere whisps of vape. Nothing like what I have seen folks produce with it. SO, I experimented. First I tried more wraps. Started with a 5/4, no go. Tried a 6/5, no go. The 6/5 seemed even worse than the 5/4 so I decided to try fewer wraps and went down to a 3/2. NAILED IT. I'm vaping the DID solely on my epipes for the time being and it seems to me that at the unregulated 3.7v the 3/2 coil is the best vape for me. WIN! Side note, if I decreased the coil any more, i.e. 2/1 would I get even more vapor? I've kinda "fiddled" myself out (if you know what I mean) and don't want to wreck the good thing I have going now. Anyone try the 2/1?
I really enjoy the ECF community as a whole but I gotta say, you folks on this thread are just fantastic. I don't think I've ever seen this level of support and encouragement on any forum I have ever seen. Kudos to us vapors!

do you have anything to test ohm, 3/2 should get you around 1.6 ish I think... don't remmeber what I have on my 3/2 set up. I think even on my 3/2 I have my voltage set around 4ish which is like a fresh 3.7 bat
I would suggest getting some kanthal 30 also and experiment with its 4/3 3/2 set up which should get you low 1.* for a 3.7v battery.

I think a 1/2 would come in around 0.3ohms and even at 3.7v that's about a billion watts. I've really settled in on either 2/3's (32 awg) or 3/4's (30 awg). Right now I have a 4/5 (30 awg) that's measuring in at 1.6ohms, but hen I recoil I'll go back to a 3/4.
