Well there are a few advantages that hybrids provide over traditional setups..

Thx Rick, that's a very detailed and understandable explanation (makes perfect sense). I guess I'll just need to get multiple Poldiacs and instead of switching DIDs, just grab a different PV.

On a side note, did you have a chance to try the glass tube wick? I haven't had time to play (getting ready for the holidays) but have a day carved out during the week after New Years to play.

About how much do you end up spending per ml of juice you mix up? That has to be incredibly cost efficient...pre-made juice gets expensive as all hell, especially if you're vaping upwards of 10ml juice per day.

Just did some math using current prices at TW and it looks like Tony's formula (50PG/50VG, 18mg/ml, 5% flavor) comes out to ~$0.16/ml. Very cheap...

Might make you sick too. LOL .
A little bit of brass ( post and nuts) in contact with e-juice might be ok, but the knurling is part of the bottom and top decks of the DID, too large a surface area in contact with juice me thinks.

Yes yes which is why I want just my knurlings to be brass lol. Could be possible to just plate them in gold or brass I suppose, but seems like a lot of work. Anyone here notice a difference btw ss and brass post and nuts? I'd like to upgrade just want to make sure it makes sense. Thanks.

I buy the 100 mil of 72%. I cut it 4 times. With a 50/50 mix of pg/vg. I even found a place to get 1/2 gal at 11$ for vg pg.

About 80 $US for 400 mil it come to on average. About 1buck for 5 mil.

Here's my last order probably had a 50 mil left when I ordered. I have 200 mill left now. I use about 100 -120 mill a month or so. When I'm home I chain vape :)

I too would have thought you DIY. Completely cost efficient. The only juice I buy is BB and GJ wi the latter being from time to time.

Ahahahah, that's pretty much what I have in mind!
Haven't had too much time to experiemnt with it unfortunately, work has been ridiculously busy lately. Hopefully I'll have some time to mess around with it this weekend if I'm not tied up with filming the POLDIAC tutorials I have in mind.
Rick, you don't DIY? I would have bet that you did, being that you love to tinker. I started making my own juice about a year ago. It costs me about $2.50 per 30ml. I'd never go back to store bought juice because, aside from the savings, I know exactly what's in the juice I'm vaping!
I've messed around with DIY a little bit in the past (last year when I was selling my own juice), but I never really pursued it. The only DIY I do anymore is making my own menthol juice.

Damn, I gotta start reading up on the DIY threads I guess! I usually polish off between 1-2 30ml bottles/week, and even though I buy in bulk (AVE and pink spot juices mostly), I still end up spending close to $0.60/ml, which seriously adds up over time.

If you guys really want to get your DIY cost down you can get 1 gal of VG and 1 gal PG from the Essential Depot for $48.06 with free shipping. Keep an eye on My Freedom Smokes for when they have sales on nic. My last liter of 100mg cost $120 when it was onn sale. My DIY is down to $0.63 for 10ml finished juice and I have enough supplies (except flavor) to last me for about another 2 years.

Just read this, is there any particular reason for your choice, as Provari manufacturer says is dangerous I dont know why? not being in anyway critical of your choice just interested!.

This is just my opinion so be fore-warned, but IMHO vendors will always make statements in order to minimize warranty issues. I think Provape says that because they use an odd electronic board configuration that has the (+) post actually recessed above where the bottom of the wafer board protrudes (hence requirements for nipple top batteries). If someone used too thick a magnet it could push up too hard and either dislodge the board (it's only hot glued to the tube wall) or maybe break it from the force on the (+) post.

I specifically chose those magnets because they are actually a little smaller in physical size than an actual battery nipple (1mm x 5mm vs ~1.5mm x ~6mm). I learned about them in one of the flashlight/torch forums. Yes, believe it or not there are flashlight forums (I had no idea they existed...). I simply got sick of having 2 different battery types.

Have also read a few posts about using #500 mesh wicks, are any of you guys using it? and if so is it so much better that the 400 becomes obsolete.

Been using #500 exclusively for a while. I never had good luck with solid wicks (of any mesh size) but do think the #500 wicks better (more consistently) than any of the others Ive tried regardless of VG/PG ratio.
