When will the smaller version be available? What do I need to get on a preorder list? Sorry if I'm asking questions that have been answered somewhere, but I've been looking for how to get on one of these lists for two days and I'm lost!

No list... just place the order on e-vape.gr site. You'll get confirmation, and then time to wait. :)

IMO Its loose so the wick wont short to the body. If it had an insert it would be better to isolate the two but this way works as well. So I would say it wont leak but dont lay it on its side or it should leak. You need air space to make it work better.

... the oxidising process protects the coil from shorting on the ss wick AND the atty body (battery negative).

I've use a well oxidised wick (three quench cycles and a Scott (igetcha :) eliquid burn on the wick), that's a snug fit in the wick hole. Although I tend to keep my vaper & atty upright, keeping the 'filling' hole closed with the bolt provided doesn't allow any leakage on the odd occassion it's been laid down.

Edit: .. in fact, with my setup, I've just held my DID upside down for 4 or 5 minutes with NO leakage whatsoever. Amazing little device, great threads, that ALWAYS aligns the air hole in the cap with the wick. Love it, haven't put it down for the last fortnight, original wick, original coil, still going strong!!!
