As a small way to show my appreciation I would like to make a lotary in this thread for my existing customers.
As we can see, when this list grows, each registering reply will take up too much space and more than a screen page for sure. Since Excel can import txt file with "," (comma) delimiter, it could reduce the viewing page by a factor of 20X. This is what we could do. Copy the list, add a "," and a space, then add your order number(s).

Couple of questions for you guys that have been using the DID for a while now.

1. The Wick , Are you finding a fatter wick that just fits in the hole better ? Or a thinner regular size wick work better ?

2. Are you using the little black silicone washer under the steel screw ?

Thanks
MWA

My impression is that there is no optimal setup depending on your particular tastes so don't be afraid to try several until you get the sweet spot you're after. Vaping styles, type of juice, mod, voltage, mesh size, coil wraps, all represent variables that can change depending on individual tastes.

I use my nuts.
My wick 'just' fits inside the hole.
I don't remove my filler screw.

In fact, I'm pretty much using my DID precisely as recommended by Jim, in bone stock configuration, and based on my personal tastes it's working perfectly for me. I can certainly appreciate that other people may need to tweak it from there.

Hey mwa,I used a fat wick on my first tank and used a insulator and a thinner wick(maybe about 1/2-5/8 as big) on the 2nd tank and can't really tell a buncha difference.I did use less mesh so it is only a couplea layers thick, that might be why.
Little black silicon washer? the tiny black o-rings go on the threaded center post ends to make sure it won't leak from the connector.
