motomatt, you can cut it with no problem. Just go for it...lol. I just cut a spare one(my last one...lol) with a regular pair of tubing cutters(metal) to see how it would do. It did take longer and I had to use more pressure but it cut the tubing just fine. I bet it can be done with a fine toothed hacksaw using only the back stroke(pulling). A Dremel with the right wheel would probably be excellent.

Thank you

I used an electric stove element to condition the wick and did the 3X burn with pure VG. After wrapping, it took only about 20 minutes to get it vaping like a train. I'm now considering using a lower mg. nic because I'm getting dizzy.

Thank you to Paul for making this.
Thank you

The DID on a GGTS, GGTB, and a Precise P-18 - fits TB and P-18 like it was made for them

Just went to the website and it says out of stock. :( Any idea when they might be back in stock. Also what is the price on them? I just got my first Genesis style a few days ago and I din't think I will ever buy another premanufactured atty again. I am just looking for other alternatives and someone recommended your DID. Looks great. Also what is the shipping cost and time? Thanks

I usually vape mostly VG juices - full or 80 or 70 vg - and I have a good bit of 325 mesh in stock. Today I got a big order that accidentally got reversed in the PG/VG ratio and ended up with 70PG juice. Does the 325 mesh work with that or should I be using 400? Any one with any experience in this area ?

I would assume more mesh(400) for thinner PG based juice... but what do I know... :)

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using David Copperfield's magic fairy dust.

OK folks the clear tank is doing great with no leaks at all(stock O-rings). I appreciate all of the comments and likes you all have made. I can't take all the credit for this, it was Jim's suggestion that the dct tanks would work. All I did was the hands on part.

I have a question for all of you more experienced at the rebuildables. I seem to struggle some getting the coil on without hotspots or just outright popping. I heat/dunk the wick as suggested then burn off juice a couple of times but to no avail. Seems it take me 3 or 4 times each time for success. Then when I am, this thing is unbelievable. I'm only putting 3 rounds on to achieve a 1.8 to 2.2 ohms reading.

Enjoy The Journey...

Thanks in advance,

Marty

ETA...I think I was wrapping the wick to tight. Not sure but re-wrapped it somewhat loose and all is well. Suggestions appreciated.

I use 325 for all vg, 70 % vg. 400 for 70 pg. No worries you can use 325 for 70 pg - you will tell the diff. DID should have come w/both 325 and 400 mesh.

Thats the key, solid connections and not wrap the wick too tight or too loose. Heat your wire before wrapping, will make it easier.

When the wick was too thick you couldn't just keep twisting it, like rolling an analog yourself to make it thinner and a tad smaller? I would think that at least one end of the mesh that comes with it would be the correct size and you just have to twist it up to make it fit. Then cut the tube to size once you put it in the tank. Hope this helps.
