Good news! - My eagerly anticipated new DiD shipped today!

Bad news - it'll probably take a few weeks.

Good news - I need a few weeks to digest this thread, watch videos, absorb all the hints/info!

Bad news - I've never build a genesis style attomizer before.

Good news - I'm not worried at all this thread is like a encyclopedia of how to do the DiD!

Bad news - quality ain't cheap ;)

Good news - quality is worth it :)

Bad news - some folks got a wee bit bent about mention of knockoffs...

Good news - I see nothing to worry about, lots of people making provari knockoffs of one sort or another, provape doing just fine. When you're making the Rolls Royce original, you're going to continue to have people beat your door down to buy your product. And the DID is clearly a Rolls Royce of rebuildable's!

Alright gotta run, class is in session got to go to the head of the thread and get edumacated so I'm ready to rock that DiD when it arrives. Thanks Jim for helping me out with my ordering issues, great service makes me confident I made a great purchase, I can't wait to see it!

Yes, they will all have the MM logo and they will also all be engraved with a unique serial number. The serials will start at #101, while #1-100 will be used for a special project Jim is working on. Same goes for the Gemini.

Safe to assume the Satin finished Mini would be engraved as well? Though I really can't see why not. Also, any word from Jim if the standard and shorty orig. DID will come engraved with serial from now on?

Yes, I believe they will be! I'm also trying to convince him to start making his own drip tips with the MM logo engraved on them, but I'd like to see who else would be interested in him doing so? Also, I wanted to relay from Jim that e-vape.gr will soon be the single cheapest vendor in the world of both kanthal and mesh! Jim just got in 25 kilos of 32g kanthal a-1 and he's determined to meet the huge demand for resistance wire as well as get it to his customers for the absolute cheapest price possible!

Lastly, part 2 of my tutorial will be up in the next 5 minutes!

Part 2 is fully uploaded, now I'm just waiting on YouTube to finish processing the video (should take 5-10 minutes tops) and then we'll be live! In part 2, I cover all of the basics of wrapping a coil and how to fiddle with your wraps to eliminate hot spots. Though my guide is fairly thorough, the best way to improve your wrapping techniques is practice!
Part 3 will be up a little bit ahead of schedule, probably by around 3:00AM Pacific Daylight Time tonight if I'm able to stay up to keep an eye on the upload progress (which I most likely will)!

Part 2, so stay tuned :D Though I also cover the nuts in my full review of the DID, which can be found by clicking the link at the bottom of my signature.

i would be interested in his drip tips. I saw the ones for cablera? and it looks awesome.
I think you mean the Caravela! Which btw, is supposed to be an EXCELLENT 510 mechanical mod.

No joke! I bet that it's literally a full mile of wire! Maybe more!

by my calculation from what info I can get

5lbs of kantha a-1 32 = 32380 ft.
25kg=55.12lb
so that's

55.12/5=11.024 orders of 5 lbs roll
11.024 x 32380ft = 356957.12 ft
1 mile = 5280 ft
356957.12/5280 = 67 miles

67 MILES!
laugh :)

Sweet! I like one stop shops...plus, I would much rather continued support to Jim as opposed to someone else that is capitalizing on the efforts of people like Jim.

Love my caravela tip, match perfect on DID, but a tip made for the DID by the creator of the DID would be even more perfect. A good driptip realy can change the experience on a geni imho.

Absolutely! The real key to genesis atomizers is airflow, and having a DT with a wide bore mp is one of the biggest contributing factors to promoting the free passage of airflow! I really like all of the super t tips, but my favorites have to be my Sagewood glass art tips. Though they're not bored quite as wide as the T-tips, the improved flavor when using a glass dt makes up for it imo.

My DID is working fantastically and MINI DID is on its way.

Jim just an idea. Have you thought about making the fill screw longer so it can work like a dipstick? To check fluid level in SS tank. Probably a daft idea! I'm thinking long and tapered.

Craftmanship is awesome. I wonder if the satin finish DIDS will match the super-t finish?

I also would be interested in a custom did ss drip tip. What would be even better is if Jim could make a custom ss flow control drip tip. Then the did would be unstoppable.
