Haven't popped in for a while but wanted to comment that I am enjoying my Did's very much today. Bought another PV so now I have both going...... nothing like the Did.... it's extraordinary.

I have a multimeter.....but have NEVER used it for anything other than testing my batteries as they come off the charger. So iI have no idea how to use one.Thanks for your reply overall.
Two questions: 1. how far away fro the mesh is the torch closer to the top in the light blue area .(..maybe a cm down from the tip).(point of flame, light blue/darker blue, distance from, or whatever)?
2.What color (dark,red,red,bright red, orange,bright orange etc.) do you heat the mesh to. bright orange then move on right away
I'm sorry to be a PITA but what seem like natural common sense to you could be the bit that's causing my downfall
I've tried using a multimeter to check res/continuity of the mesh but get varying readings and no real idea of whether I've killed the conductivity or not.

I believe that the Mini DUD is not the same diameter as the Mini DID so that glass tank will not fit.
Does everyone remember what happens when we assume?

the DUD and the DID are not the same size, neither in diameter nor in length. Here is a picture I found online:
Just had to share for those of you who remember what happened last time it did this:
I found it was time for the DID to have a full bath again, so i took it apart completely and put it in the sonic cleaner. After the cleaning and drying i put it all back together again...... WITHOUT breaking the post!!!
Now vaping an awesome clean shinny DID again with my favorite blend of juice!

Uma, if its the same i'm not conviced its great news....
The one I got with my first order didn't last a day. Its made of low grade plastic that just can't hold the temperature...
your better off cutting an old dtc tank to size if you have one of those...
maybe others have had better luck with it but I suspect there's a good reason behind it being discontinued...

i think i finally broke the code of the genesis..
i made a new wick and coil.. this time i oxidized before i rolled.. very quickly just so eveything glowed orange for a few seconds.. also i used a big piece of wick.. probably 60mm.. rolled a solid wick that fits snug in the DID hole.. juice burned twice.. wrapped coil.. 4/5 came to 2.2ohms... poped on provari.. no short what so ever.. even coil lit with no hot spot.. i barely had to nudge any coils.. filled with my all day vape.. and bam.. it was like vape heaven...
tons of vapor.. th.. flavor.. and no dry hits even from chain vaping.. but i don't think i can chain vape this thing cuz i had to step back for a sec cuz the i definitely felt how much nic came from just 4 big hits...
left the fill hole nut off as always..
my last wick and coil? 30mm wick with small hole in middle.. oxidized after i rolled.. for a long time.. til almost black.. juice burned like 5 times.. used cigarette paper to wrap coil for fear of shorts... 4/5 wrap 2.0ohm.. wicking.. th.. vapor all mediocre.. my all day vape tasted like air.. i did get hints of burn rice which probably came from the cig paper..
so thats my new wick today..

Nice. I think more mesh actually does help. At first I was doing about 20 to 30mm and was not always getting much flavor or vapor. Now I have been going to about 40mm wide and it does seem to help wicking.... Also I thought before that having a straw would cause it to fill up easier, but apparently not... With my newest one, there is no center hole either, in fact the middle of the wick is kind of split in two with a line of mesh in the middle, if that makes sense. Like a null symbol.. The last few I havent used a nail in the middle to keep a center channel.. Think it helps though it seems counter intuitive to me...
I orderedmy DiD a week ago and still not got a tracking number or heard anything is this normal?
