Great, now I have to go on a hunt for a super tiny plastic washer. :D

These are the ones i got. I still needed to trim the outside edges a bit, but after that they worked great. I have some extras, and would be more than happy to send you a few, but you can probably find them locally.

Edit: nevermind that link was not the right product, I will try to locate the right one.

Edit2: I actually do think that these are the same ones: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...yword=fiber+washer&storeId=10051#.UGsq75jA_ng
The OD is listed at 1-1/4", but I don't think that is correct.

Ok... I'm about to give up here and by a cheap knock off. For over 2 days now I have been trying to place an order on the mmvapors site and I keep getting a payment error every time I try to place an order.

I'm not getting any help or answers from them and I don't know where else to turn. Has anyone from the US recently placed an order through Paypal with them and actually got their order in successfully? I know it's not my paypal account unless there is some euro restriction thing going on that I'm not aware of.

anyone?

I think it's just they recently changed the site over and Jim the guy that owns the place just had a kid a few days ago. So i'm sure it's just a .... up somewhere that will be fixed shortly he normally checks this thread all the time so I'm sure he'll sort it out. All I can say is it was worth the wait for me.

All the best

There are a couple of good deals on the classys if you wish to "rescue" one for now....
But, the DID is worth the wait and worth the real thing.

Anyone have any joy with a glass tank for the DID yet? I just don't want plastic

Not that I've heard yet....I would love to move to glass myself on one of the DIDs. But, I believe someone is working on the specs and seeing if one can be made/sourced. Posts are 2-3 days back I believe.....sometime Sat/Sun.

yep, mine needs rescued.i just don't use it anymore :( i prefer the smaller size tanks now

Question for people that have their top cap bored out. I recently found out that a bigger airhole fits my vaping habbit better, i prefer lunginhales to. Is there any disadvantage to boring the did cap out, like less flavor or something?
Bit scared to ruin a DID.

i like the bored out caps because the vape is cooler and flavor is better,,especially on the exhale.but everybody is different

I think there is less flavor with a bored out top cap I seem to remember a large discussion in this thread a month or so back. Good news is of you own an old one top caps are half price at the moment. Might be worth getting another one and trying it.

I do not know if I and others were instrumental on center post and nuts revision into stainless steel. I commented on their website and questioned the rational on using brass materials. Although stainless steel is the poorest conductor compared to silver, copper (brass is a copper alloy), gold and aluminum, the differences on resistance for all practical purposes, are quite negligible on the size of the DID's center pin and the nuts. Being that the stainless steel is the sturdiest, it stands to reason that it's the best choice aside from less susceptible to oxidation (E-liquid). So, to switch back from stainless steel to brass is actually going backward. My DID is all stainless steel like yours. The nuts are knurled and the internal connecting tube is meticulously machined. Now, if I could only make it to work properly, like the rest of the happy owners, I'll be a very happy man. I'm beginning to question the wire it came with. Is it Kanthal or not? Kanthal's skin surface oxidizes after several annealing and burn-in runs due to aluminunm alloy material in it (I researched it last night). The oxidation acts as an electrical insulation between the wire mesh and the heating coil.

I placed an order on the 28th of Sept. and never received an order confirmation from MMVapors but did receive one through PayPal. I logged in on the site and checked my account and it does show that my order is in processing. So that's good right?

I think Jim has been having some issues with the site again. That or he was so swamped with orders immediately that he shut down the payment system again. That does seem unlikely though as it just reopened to orders about 5 days ago...

That looks great. Exactly the setup I was after for my sister's birthday.
Mini DID is waiting for a long time for 18350 precise (dual tone, slant top) to arrive.
Rick, when did you order your precise?
I placed my order in the first week of September.
Hope, it arrives soon. And I still didn't find appropriate girly drip tip.

Love my new precise 18350, with my mini.

Last week of aug, so yours should be arriving soon. If you go to super t area in suppliers forum you can ask what order they will ship through this week. Your sis will love it. It hits hard and strong and is pocket or purse ( so I imagine :) friendly. Very well made, like the DID.

....... i'm an idiot, I did't even think of adding a small o-ring to the bottom. Now you say it of course it makes perfect scene. Can't believe I overlooked such a simple solution!

Thanks guys appreciate the help.

Some advice on this. I DID fine for a while with the o-ring on the post but eventually got some leaking from condensation. A better fix (AKA RWeschler...) is to put pop out the bottom teflon spacer and put the o-ring on the "nipple" and reinsert into to base. Also, be sure to tighten onto PV and re-tighten center post base nut (other wise it will rise/loosen later when the o-ring compresses)

Thanks I'll give that a go when I recoil or I get any leaks. I'm just happy atm not to have a cheap $2 adapter sitting between my DID and my new precise+ :)

I open all of mine to 1/16. For me flavor is every bit as strong, just lots more vapor. I'm not a TH person (I like to feel it, but not feel like I swallowed steel wool) and for what ever reason the DID gives a wonderfully smoother hit for me. Most devices I only mouth hit/inhale but with my DIDs I deep inhale followed by a nice mouth hit - absolutely stellar...

Cool, I wouldn't dump a tank for it but it is a really cheap/easy long term fix
