I'm jealous of flyers. My family has a history in aviation, I just went a different route.

It is the only battery holder I have.
I never had issues with it in setting up the DID. You wait until the error message is gone (a few seconds) poke the coils and try again (always making sure you start at the lowest voltage setting).

When it's necessary, I prefer nudging my coils around while they are glowing red. They are much more soft and maleable then and I can often see the tiny sparks as they move over a micro-short. Many of the NETs that I vape are quite high in suspended particulates (the tobacco) and gunk up coils very quickly compared to lab juice, so I'm wrapping at least 2 fresh coils a day and often 3 or more. Just finished a tank of GoodeJuice Wild Turkey with a splash of Heather's Oompah. Time to wrap a freshie on this short DID and fill 'er up :)

After replacing 4 coils a week for 2 months, I have started scrubbing them gently with a toothbrush to clean the coils. I make sure the coil is wet when I do it. Since I started this I haven't replaced coil yet.

Yep, that is what I do. But once a month I completely take the DID apart to give it a nice bath in the sonic cleaner.

I just gave my Temon a super hot bath in the sink. I was paranoid about losing the nuts, and will probably use a large bowl next time. I haven't cleaned my DIDs out yet, I probably should, but the flavors I vape are so similar, I have been too lazy. I have used an ultrasonic sink for other RBA's in the past and it worked great, however because the DID comes with a stainless steel tube I never get to see when they need cleaning.

I have a dilemma, buy kids more gifts for Christmas, or buy myself everything Christmas set. Do you think the kids would hold it against me?

Buy them a slinky and sneak the xmas set in the house piece by piece. they'll never know. Besides, you only have to be nice to them till they're 18 anyway...

For me, cleaning consists of
  1. twisting out the wick
  2. Dry burn the coil till clean
  3. torch the wick and douse under hot running water
At least once a year i take it completely apart, soak in PGA and rinse with hot water (whether it needs it or not)

With the new health care and tuition assistance laws, it is now 26.

What? I spoil my kids but in my house they all know the clock is counting down to 18. They can earn extra points by mastering wick oxidation and short/hot spot free coil wrapping...

Not in Colorado yet!
I really should find that box of bottles of strong alcohol! My ex and her stupid furniture collecting! When the new kitchen cupboard came in all stuff got packed into boxes and that box has since just disappeared!
There should be some Czech rum in there and some Russian Vodka, some Slivovitz, etc. Hmm I also suddenly remember that I had a whole case of bottles of Gluhwein! no clue where that went either! Grrrr! Now that would be nice on a cold winter evening!

I guess more tidying and cleaning/moving of furniture etc tomorrow!

OMG, I love Gluhwein. Haven't had that in years. I always loved that after a good day of skiing in Bravaria.

Tony, you want to come fly my plane tomorrow to Philly? That way I can come sit in the cockpit with you and vape my brains out instead of going to the restroom to vape. :D. I'm sure everyone thinks I have a small bladder.:lol::lol:

That would make two of us. Many years ago we smoked in the cockpit. The fa's would say the paxs knew we had it good. Because they couldn't and we did. :)
I'm off till Saturday. I have a nice 11 day off stretch.
Here's my next schedule. At least I get to ny by Christmas day.
