THE POLIDIAC - First Look -

Hey everyone, got my Poldiac (18650) yesterday - Jim tells me I'm the first one in the world to have one - Thanks again Jim.

The fit, finish and contacts of the device are magnificent. ESPECIALLY the contacts. The spring, and both adjustable screws are brass coated with silver. This makes the device very hard hitting. Very hard compared to most devices. IMO

The two adjustable screws for battery and atomizer connection are great. This means Burnie, that it will take any nipple or flat top battery. You just adjust the screw for battery contact. I used both the MNKE Flat top and AW IMR 1600 nipple top both yesterday.

Top screw is used to adjust the atomizer contact. Very simple adjustment and you are ready to go with any atty you put on there.

Battery removal is done through the bottom cap. Make sure you do this and not get lazy by attempting to change out batts from top of tube. One could easily get arcing if you press the button at all while unscrewing and removing batt.

The button is an awesome design, easy press and when done - just turn the shirt to hide the button - excellent design.

Well - this was just a quick review on my initial thoughts of the device. Hope you all like it as much as I do.

Pics to follow someday when I have sunlight

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

re: THE POLIDIAC - First Look
Thanks again mate, congrats one getting number 1. Great to see the good comments, I never expected anything else from the craftmanship from Jim.
It seems as if he has all the bases covered with this one, I have a week to wait for mine to arrive due to location and public holidays will give me time to get them some food.
Again many thanks, I'm thinking 2013 is going to be interesting as to what Jim produces.
