New Girl and Need a Little Advice!

Hi Everyone,

Well I am a new girl here, but have been vaping for a year and I JUST tried tanks. I had always been a V2/V4life/Premium user and was using juice for refilling carts. Finally tried a tank and I really like it, except I have NO CLUE how long the dual coil cartos are good for. Plus I have tried a few juices I did not like and basicly can not get the taste our of the carto. Any advice. And since I tend to like the thick warm vapor, should I open my horizons elsewhere?

I don't use a tank but do use dual coil cartos from smoktech.

The ones I've used all still work..and i've had some for upwards of two months. The life will vary based on the type of juice you're using and also how how you're burning them(I run at 3.7v) Since they are so inexpensive, most people will just toss them after a couple weeks or so...as soon as the draw starts to change.

As for getting a flavor out..you need to give them a good washing..but as I said, since they are so cheap..its easier just to buy new ones.

Search Carto Cleaning on U-Tube. Plenty of easy ways to get that done. They might be good for some more use.

I haven't tried the tank-o-mizers yet, but have been having great luck with the clearomizers. Easy to wash out to...just fill up with super hot water a couple of times, shake/blow them out and let air dry for a day or so (or just fill with juice...downside is that the first 5 or 6 pulls are mostly "burnt water". lol!)

I am trying to use dual coil and tanks too. I have to say that with my juices (100% VG or Mixed 50/50% VG/PG) I had to replace them after 5 days. I was using something around 3ml of juice per day.

The lifespan for me seems to be that, so they are more expensive than a regular carto (single coil), so I am not convinced that the dual coil I have is really a good option, maybe another model/brand will do the trick and last longer.

The one I have are the Madvapes (flanged tank replacement) 2.5ohm and 1.5ohm dual coil.

Welcome to ECF! I use the dual coil tanks also and find that they last at least a week or so for me before they need to be cleaned out. however i tend to just toss em and throw in a new one as soon as the draw starts to tighten up. Nice to see someone else from up north on here

welcome to the ECF! Getting flavors out of carto isnt always very easy( especially with some strong or nasty flavors ) I personally just either start running some straight pg thru them to try and erase the old taste and then add the new, or send it to the trash. There is lots of other things people do though im sure. try checking the atomizer,cartomizer, and tank section in the general discussion are. oh yea, +1 for tanks and +1 for northern MI

I'm a little confused. When you say V2, does that mean that you are using a slim ecig?
