I had 3 boxes of DIY goodies in the mail today :D

Only thing I am waiting on now is safety n-gloves and plastic apron; and a few needles and syringes to arrive. I have a brand new pair of kitchen gloves never used, I may have to try using them to get started playing with mixing.

So many goodies, so little time.

Wish me luck!!

Based solely on smell...the only one I have (from TPA) that I am worried about is Sweet Cream. It smells like some kind of cheese. lol. I need to go back and re-read the description of that one.

ETA: This explains it. "It should smell milky, with light buttermilk/cheesy notes.".

... buttermilk...

Which begs the question... how do ya tell when buttermilk goes bad? twitch.gif

I handle 60mg base and don't wear gloves... but I'm already old and ugly!

Be sure to let us know how your first mix turns out. Have fun and good luck!

Already a ooppsss! Spilled my bottle of White Chocolate flavoring. 1/2 gone. dagnabit! Maybe I just had to get that first mishap out of the way. No one has ever called me graceful. lol.

TPA White Chocolate is very mild, imo. So far I can't taste any white chocolate in the one 3ml test I've done mixing it with espresso, mocha, and whipped creme. Keep trying.

I haven't gagged myself yet, so all may be well. lol.

Oh no, my first trip into DIY yielded 6 bottles that all smelled and tasted like vomit. :( But it does get easier. I had to start with single flavor mixes and then slowly added other flavors into the mix. It took a while and I did vape some nasty things just not to be wastefull but now I have 3 GREAT mixes I love.

For me, what I ended up LOVING were flavors I never liked before. I have eaten maybe 3 peaches in my long 39 years I never liked those suckers, but now it's my all day vape. Cake, coffee, chocolate flavors I love to eat.....I can't stand to vape. Try going out of your comfort zone for new flavors....You may be surprised.

I've noticed this too, and now I guess I'm going to have to try peach lol. I like to eat them but only rarely, and it's a big mess to eat them (plus I can never seem to correctly assess when they're ripe), maybe I'll like vaping it more!

Thanks! I am going to try new ventures in flavors. I have been vaping one coffee and one fruity vape (pre-mixed) as my go-to all day flavors. Time to venture out!! There were others that I liked, but only two that made it to the all day category. lol. I'm tired of buying pre-mixed to test flavors and them being not quite right for me. Like most, I've spent wayyyy too much "trying" pre-mixed juices. So it's DIY. :)

this DIY is a BLAST!!! I just did a cheesecake, with graham cracker and just a tad of cocoa...the waiting is the hardest part.It tastes ok just now after I made it,but I am guessing one doesnt really know for a few days..I am concerned that with the cocoa I may need to add one drop of sweetner, but alas,I will wait until monday to try it again.(maybe)..lol

I ordered about 25 bottles today,plastic 10ml,and 12 glass ones with droppers..then I can really get started..

Don't know how close you live to one but in addition to PG Tractor Supply sells needles and syringes :)

They're sharps, but their 1.5" 18 and 20 gauge needles are $2 for a box of six and I believe they have syringes in 3, 6, 12 and 20cc. I bought two boxes of sharps and probably half a dozen syringes for $9 out the door.

The only place I've found 1cc syringes is liberty-flights and I use them to measure flavoring.

Im about 30 min away from one,and stopped in yesterday and got a gallon of PG and a few syringes.wrong guage needles though..uggg...back to them next week.

Yeah - if you're working with VG it's hard to draw up in even an 18 gauge needle without cutting it first - which is what I do.
