I purchased some new heads/coils for my davide a few weeks ago and noticed a difference. The grommet is softer. How I found out is when I use one on a mech. When I put the tank on I had no draw . I take it out and notice the grommet is squished. The mechs I used were the smok e-pipe and a maraxus clone. I know the maraxus has a floating pin and the e-pipe doesn't. My opinion on the grommet is its to soft . Has anyone else had noticed or had a problem.

Was the Purchase ORIGINAL Kanger Heads or just some generic heads?
I have heard the same complaint, but it seems to always be some generics.

I do but both originals and Generics from FT. Both seem to work fine in my Evods and PT2-minis. but one was very tight in a Protank knockoff that usually Vapes well. Grommet didn't seem squished but maybe a bit thicker than Kangers.

I also use Tank supports and do not Force a tank down on the device so less likely to squish anything or damage any threading.

Without seeing the grommet I'm going to hazard a guess that you have heads with the new silicone grommets. They are good and bad, the good, they withstand much higher temperatures without the dreaded burning rubber taste but the down side is they are much softer and as such can cause problems on some mods.

If they have almost a translucent/milky appearance then most likely you do in fact have genuine Kanger heads with the new materials.
