Hi everyone! Just started vaping about a month ago and I'm really enjoying it. I was a cigarette smoker on and off for many years and starting smoking cigars regularly every day for the past 7 years. The wife(who is also a member of this board) went out and purchased one of those blu disposables from a drug store. I gave it a shot and didn't think it was too bad. She ordered a Halo starter kit and let me try it. I was hooked on it immediately. Tossed those stinky cigars in the trash. Just discovered a brand new vape shop a couple miles away from the house and stopped in. We both tried out the Vision spinner and wow! I am loving this thing. Hopefully, down the road, I would love to quit nicotine all together and just toss the whole habit in the trash.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. Greetings from Sacramento! :)

Welcome JimCal. The spinner was a very wise choice! I love mine a lot more than my ego.
Go down slowly on the juice to keep off the stinkies.

Thanks for the welcome! Now the only problem is, how do I quit vaping? With all the flavors and such out there, I'm liking this better than I ever did smoking cigars. Maybe don't want to quit vaping! LOL

Hey Jim!

Right behind you!

A friend of mine actually let me take a few pulls off one of those blu's and I was about to order some. I ended up here first and it's looking like it makes more sense to just go right to the spinner (which is open in my other browser)

We're doing the right thing! If somebody told me 10 years ago this is how I'd quit smoking I never would have believed them.

Hi Jim. Welcome! Greetings from north ATL. Vaping smells much better than cigars :)

I'm new here too and new to vaping. Made it easy for me to give up smokes altogether. 35yrs - 1+ PAF. I'm using 18mg of nicotine and plan to eventually go to lower levels but have no plans top stop vaping! :)

Thanks for the welcome Claire! I was very skeptical at first but, man, I am enjoying vaping a heck of a lot more than I ever did cigars! Good luck to you quitting the nasty cigs. Vaping is much more fun! And a heck of a lot better for you. :)

Hey Jim. I guess I discovered vaping a week after you. And again like you, it's more than just a substitue for smoking. I'm liking it better, at least most of the time, and would like to drop the whole nicotine thing somewhere down the road. It's beginning to look do-able, and anyhow it definately feels less unhealthy.
