Hello all, this will be my first post here so I can participate in other areas in the forum.

I got started on e-cigs about a year ago when I learned about Blu through their aggressive online marketing, and decided to give it a go. This was the first I had heard of e-cigs ever, and I thought it was just THE coolest thing I had ever seen. Unfortunately, I had to do so many RMA's (return merchandise authorization) that I really felt like I was beta testing a product that wasn't quite ready for release, and thus throwing money away.

I had moderate success using Blu to stop smoking, but it just wasn't giving me what I needed. I thought the problem was e-cigs in general, until a friend pointed out that there are much better alternatives out there.

Currently, I am happily using an Ego XL with volcano "clearomizers" (I tried the Boge 510's, not bad, but have had some issues) and using puresmoker.com's eliquids in "fierce" (3.2%) strength with firecracker cinnamon being my overall favorite. I did manage to re-use some of my old Blu carto's with moderate, yet not-so-good-tasting results.

On to my questions!

1. Are there better carto's available than the clearomizers that hold a pretty good amount of liquid, don't burn through it fast, but taste good and provide a good balance of hit/vapor? I like the clear ones because I can see when I'm getting low and NOT burn it, but it still seems to burn through juice pretty quickly.

2. What's the cheapest place to get decent and strong eliquid? I've been buying from puresmoker.com, but after looking around it seems there are cheaper alternatives like UnSmoke.us that provide a cheaper liquid, albeit not in 3.2% but they at least provide 2.8%, and their 30ml bottle is a full $10 cheaper than puresmoker.com. Does anyone have experience with this vendor? What are the shipping costs from them usually? Is it decent liquid?

Anyways, that's all for now, if these questions don't get answered here, I will try in the other forum when I can make threads there.

Thanks for reading!

Welcome and Hi!
Have you looked into the tank system yet? If not, it is worth a look! I no longer use carts much anymore and absolutely love the tanks! There is a big taste difference when it comes to the eliquids in a tank vs a cart. The clearomizers are nice and I get why you use them ... i still have a few.
Here are a few places I get my eliquid from and I have had good experience with: juicyvapor, digitalciggz, myfreedomsmoke, ecigexpress and freedomsmokeusa. There are many more our there but these are on the top of my list so far!
Enjoy!
:)

It takes some research but it's definitely worth the effort to DIY, and far cheaper. One Stop DIY Shop has some nice equipment and they're happy to help with mixing. Prior to that I ordered a lot from Gourmet Vapor. They're a little more expensive but if you watch for their sales, the prices are quite competitive. You can also mix your own on their website. As an example my girlfriend can't tolerate menthol, so I took one of their blends she was interested in and copied it, substituting peppermint for the menthol.

Not sure what strength you're looking for, they go as high as 24mg. Freedomsmokeusa (which I haven't used, but has excellent reviews) goes up to 36mg.

Hope that helps a bit. :)
