Hi. I've been vaping for about 8 years. I never got into temp control until now. I got the Sigelei 213 last week. Had the 150 before this. I picked up some 24ga 316L ss wire and wrapped two 7 wrap coils on a Griffin 25 tank for a .14 build. Selected ss in temp mode and 316. I set the preheat to 70 watts for 1.0 second and 400f. Some times I get a good solid even hit on my draw but most times it hits good for a second and then drops off to almost nothing. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Going back to power mode at 70 watts and it works great. I have upped the pre heat but it's too hot. I have cranked op the temp to over 500 and that didn't work either. I have read many good things about temp control but so far it's not working for me

I could never get temp control to work to my satisfaction either. I vape at 35w

I've got two Sigelei 213s and I'm waiting for delivery of two additional bases for my Twisted Messes SQ RDA to try out TC. I bought the 213s for TC. I must have 3,000 ft of TC wire now.

B/c I'm new to TC myself, I would up the temp and see what happens. As I said, I'm new to it too...so others who are in TC will know more abt it than I do at the moment. Give me two weeks and I'll be all over it.

Just messing around today and set it to tcr. Looked up the tcr value on line and it said for 316 SS it was 0.0092. Set the preheat to .38 at 60 watts. Set it to 300 degrees and it's running real nice now

You might want to watch this video, where the reviewer uses TC. He's up at a much higher temp.

I've been using the mod for abt 3 weeks now and this is going to be my vapocalypse mod. I'm going to keep on buying them until the supply is cut off.

I love SS for TC. I've never had any issues with it on my devices, but I did watch a few reviews of the 213 and have heard that there are issues with it, specifically in TC mode and with the pre-heating mode. This is supposedly because they rushed it to market to avoid the FDA crap that goes into effect in August.

I looked at 8+ Reddit articles on the Sigelei 213.

I looked at 8+ VU articles on the Sigelei 213. There was one guy, a NEW MEMBER named TechnoGeek, who mysteriously says there are issues on May 18th, yet I could not find the posts on VU.

The following have reviews on YouTube for the Sigeli 213: 21,728 views Vaping360. 48,669 views on VapnFagan. 6,003 views on Rip Trippers. 19,067 views on Vaping Bogan. 25,440 views on Mike Vapes. 5,057 views on Jai Haze. 6,617 views on Aspen Valley Vapes. 135,000+ YouTube video views, NO complaints.

NO DUDS reported by the reviewers or the people who have seen the videos or posted on Reddit or VU over the last 2 months. No issues what so ever on any of the videos or in the comments. Yet in this and the owners thread on ECF there are a couple of people with issues. Just looking at the raw numbers, this seems to be one heck of a solid mod.

My suggestion would be return your product if you have any issues. If you are looking to buy one of the best mods out there BUY the Sigelei 213.

I have two Sigelei 213s. NO problems. Can there be units with problems? Maybe, but it does not seem widespread.

Welcome and glad you joined. Never used my TC function because I'm happy with variable watts.
