Welcome to the wonderful world of postman stalking. It is a sport. But a fun one!

A quick mention on the clove, it is very mild. I couldn't taste it until I was off analogs about 3 weeks, but my tastebuds were really jacked up. If you get something you don't like, try it again in a couple of weeks.

Welcome to the family!

I like this.

Taste-buds are not only subjective but yours will even play tricks on you. Even quitting smoking with no PV will have your taste-buds in a transitional phase, trying to find "normal". Add to that a world of juice flavors, and nic strengths and the buds are confused! Finding your own groove is what it's all about. Know that if you aren't wowed by a juice/carto today, a few weeks down the road you try it again, and you suddenly like it. You could love a juice now and weeks later, you don't. One day you will define what to you is an "all day vape". Happiness ensues.

Drip Tips are somewhat of a misnomer. Old school Drip Tips were indeed used for dripping e-liquid directly into a pv. V4L Drip Tips still need to be removed from the cartomizer for topping off and refilling. The benefits are primarily ergonomic due to their contoured designed they are very comfortable on the lips for drawing, ease of use since they can simply be pulled off as opposed to having to remove the rubber stopper, and lip protection from vaping hotter cartomizers like LR Wow Cartos.

Additional benefits are a smoother more relaxed draw due to the larger opening, aesthetics since they just look so cool, and if you happen to have them in different colors...flavor identification when used with blanks.

A .... plug or coned condom is always recommended whenever refilling and a Taryn Spin is great for removing juice or water from a carto. But only used as a helpful item when the polyfill in the carto is wrapped so tightly it doesn't seem to absorb juice very well....which occasionally occurs with Premium Cool Carts.

I think this is the most helpful tip I received today. I'm going nutso trying to keep up with my flavors. Thanks Snow!

Hi Daveh! Welcome! I am pretty new here also and have had my Vapor King XL kit since last thursday. It's an awesome kit and all the people here have been the greatist help. I also started with the Greensmoke, which if you read the other sections in ECF, it seems we are not alone. When I finally got fed up with it I was one day past the return. They did send me two new batterys to replace the 3 week old ones that had failed. I still liked thier product when it worked, but it's nothing like the Vapor King.

One thought I had with my left over carto's from that unit was using the reverse taryn to collect the juice, and then fill a blank carto with it and vape the juice off your new PV. Yes, it was probably a lot of money compared to just buying some juice but at least you will have gotten something from them.

Enjoy your new kit! Take it from someone who is exactly in the same postion you are, you will soon forget about the old one. V4L is just that good.

So of the cartos that I listed earlier in the thread, I'm gonna be honest and say maybe they're too strong? There's a LOT more smoke compared to my old pv, though the 18 mg ones seem to be less smoke than the 8 mg. The 18 mg seems almost syrup, too rich, and then the 8 mg seems too light. Is there maybe a choice between these two? And am I hallucinating in terms of nic strength being related to syrupy-ness and vapor production?

Hmm, yeah that makes sense. To be honest I wasn't feelin super hot yesterday(I guess that's what I get for staying up 'til the birds chirp waiting for my kit!), so that might've played a role in how I experienced my cartos yesterday. I did do a comparison of my wow cowboy 8 mg vs 18 mg, and it did seem that the higher level nicotine almost masked some of the flavor? I'll have to give it more time, speaking of which thank you for mentioning that my tastebuds are going crazy right now, that was another point of potential hallucination. :)

Higher nic content can tend to mask flavor a bit; and yes, there is a step between 8mg and 18mg: V4L offers everything in 11mg as well (they just may be out of 11mg stock in whatever flavors you were looking at).

Don't fret, everyone takes a while to find their nicotine and flavor "sweet spot" (to say nothing of the games our tastebuds play!)

Ah, thanks SnowDragon. I appreciate the FYI! So the flavors I picked up are:
cartos-
WOW vapor Wowboy(since a lot of people on here really liked it, though only in 8 mg since that's the highest they had)
WOW vapor Clove
WOW vapor menthol lovers sampler
WOW vapor Tobacco shop sampler
WOW vapor fruit bowl sampler

Juice-
WOW vapor Clove

extras(on top of the ultimatum manual kit)-
1 stealth series batt in matte black
1 white auto batt(since I guess the sensor is suction and not noise based that means these are less... finicky)
1 drip tip(don't really know what I'm doing with this, but it seemed like a good idea at the time! haha)

Oh and thanks everyone for posting great discounts on here, it was quite helpful!

Just wondering ,since its new company for you ,why all wow cartos ?

I tend to do things in extremes! And the reason for all the cartos: a good portion are samplers since I don't know the different flavors :)

ok if any are too mellow for you try the equivalent in cool carts if there is the same flavor :) I think they are a little stronger ( in general ) but our tastes are all so different .samplers are always a good idea .
