Hi everyone. Ive actually been vaping since May and have been on here for several months but havent had time to actually start posting. I decided what better time than the present. I was a heavy smoker for almost 20 years and have quit a couple times before but always ended up smoking again. This time I have quit and have absolutely no desire to go back. vaping is the best thing to ever happen to me.

Welcome direwolf and congrats on kicking the analog habit! I feel the same as you about vaping!! I LOVED smoking, just not the health issues/price/stink. After only a few weeks of vaping I'm loving it way more than stinky analogs. I feel better, I'm not self conscious about smelling like smoke, and I'm enjoying the variety in e-juice flavours. I think the e-cig is a miracle invention!

Welcome new guy. I've been off the analogs for a month and a half. Smoked pretty much my whole life and I'm 50 now, so a long time. E-cigs are little techno miracles as far as I'm concerned.

wow everyone seems to be having some pretty good luck leaving the analogs behind them, getting all excited and hoping it will work for me too, just need to read more and get a better understanding of them first before i buy lol
Yup, just make sure and get something from one of the vendors listed on this site. Those are vendors we shop and they pretty much have to be decent or they'd go out of business. Stay away from gas stations and local cigarette shops, they usually sell crap. Some have the Cig2o kits, which I like - still use them as backups.

Good job direwolf! I smoked for 38 years and haven't touched a cigarette now since the day I started vaping... 45 days! I never thought I'd find anything to really help me quit. This is amazing! I'm now addicted to Cinnabun but it's beats the heck outta carpet glue! 
Welcome from one Newbie to another. I've only been off the analogs for 2 weeks, but I'm amazed at how easy and painless it was to substitue the eCig. Congrats on your success!!!
Welcome aboard to you and to wmmeyer. I was a smoker for 22 years. I have been vaping now for just over a year and I love it. If you have any questions, this is the forum to start with. You are certainly not the first to <insert vaping difficulty here> and these folks are the best. I have learned so much on here... Welcome
congrats and welcome. I'm pretty much like you except that I only smoked for for a few months. Started vaping at the end of 2010 and registered on ECF a few months back but never posted - only used it to find out reviews and information.
