@Carbon59 nicotine in e-liquid isn't really any more harmful than caffiene.

I used to be a very heavy smoker - averaged 2 & a half packs of 20 a day  so for me to give up smoking, I needed 36mg. 7 years later & I now mainly vape between 24 & 18mg. side effects -zilch. Health & financial benefits almost countless :)

Welcome Carbon!

Congrats to you! Your body will tell you how quickly you can drop nic. Each of us is different and we each need different levels to maintain our "sanity" ;)

If you're hitting 10mg pretty hard, you might want to either bump back up a smidge or at least wait for a bit before trying to drop any more.

There's no need for speed in dropping nic. Just staying away from cigarettes is what's priceless and wins the gold medal!

Hi Marty & congrats on quitting. Its been almost 9 months for me after being a PAD+ smoker for 36 years. I started last fall with 24mg and a couple of months back dropped to 18mg. Just got a new box and next time at the shop I will get 12mg I think. I'm in no hurry but am slowly reducing the nic when I am comfortable with it. Vape on!
