Oh, and I must mention that, from reading your posts, I got the idea of labeling. Yours look awesome. I simply used a small strip of clear packing tape and a small strip of paper, but I guess it still gets the job done.

I use small strips of masking tape (the blue stuff you use when painting) and use a sharpie to right on the tape. For my labels.

Cherokee, I jumped right into vaping with the Triton and a tobacco sampler pack. Tribeca blew my socks off and continues to be my ADV! :) I don't have any experience with the G6 batts or the mini tanks but I will say that the people at Halo have done an exquisite job of pairing their hardware and juices. Tribeca is actually a very resilient and tolerant juice. I double hit (hotbox) every single vape for the full 10 seconds that the Triton battery will fire and then auto-shutoff! The only times I've experienced any burnt taste is when I either didn't wait for the wicks to soak after my initial filling of the tank of when the coils are dirty or old. I rinse and dry burn my coils every 2-3 tank fills (about 5-7ml). There's much to learn and refine while finding your own vaping style that works for you but a few things are consistent among us all...mainly, one must keep enough air moving over the coils while they're firing to keep their temp from soaring into the "frying juice" levels....IE: steady but constant hit the entire time you're holding the button (if your batts are manual). My wife is just starting and it's bad about holding it while she blows out her vape and then goes back in for another and, you guessed it,.....blech, cough, cough gag! You'll find your vaping style, love it, and meet TONS of really nice people along the way (especially us Halons:)). The journey is a lot of fun...do not get discouraged NOR expect everything to "be perfect" as you're learning...ASK....we did! Also, know that, in Halo, you've chosen THE #1 Ejuice Vendor on the USA!! Whenever you're ready to split your ribs laughing, come on over to our chat thread and make yourself known!! We'd love to have you. :) :vapor:

Before long, you'll probably end up with something like this

I use a P-Touch label maker for the cartos and tanks that are now becoming dedicated to one flavor each:

Hi, Camaro! Thank you so much for your incredibly detailed and informative post. :) I also really love your setup, and that humidor looks really classy!

Thanks, also, for the warm welcome, and I will certainly join in on the chat thread.:) Yo all, in all honestly, do seem to have a great sense of humor, and I can tell that there are some really nice people here (I'm looking at you, Evie:nun:)! I will most certainly continue asking questions, as it is really fun to learn from you all, and get a laugh while at it. After this post, I'm going to look up a few threads and a youtube video about dry burning, as I just cleaned another one of my mini tanks.

The more I think about it, the closer I am getting to pulling the trigger on a Triton starter Kit. You all seem to rave about the Triton, and I have good reason to believe that y'all Halons know what you are talking about!:) And TriBeCa is, in fact, glorious. In the meantime, I will continue monitoring my drags, and try to get the hang of what works best for me. Funny thing is, the tank of TriBeCa I'm vaping right now seems to be performing better for me, with less burning, so I might, hopefully, be making some progress!

Well, thanks again, and it's great to meet you!

Your welcome Cherokee but I had only smoked 30 years LOL ;) And if you want the LR cartos PM me your address and I'll be happy to send them to you.

Thanks so much, Evie! You are most kind, truly. And congratulations on quitting after 30 years! That is fantastic! I seem to remember reading that you have two sons in their high teens? Do they vape? I wish that, instead of me smoking in my late teens, that vaping was available! But I certainly not complain too much, as I never got too heavily into smoking. But other vices plagued me, at times. Thanks again, and I hope that, someday, I might be able to "pay forward" the kindness that has been shown me!:D

Oh you will pull that trigger, take it from me! I was in love with my auto G6's and saw no reason to ever step up. And mostly I dreaded the thought of having to push a button to vape. But curiosity got the best of me, and now I love my Tritons, and rarely use the G6"s (though I still love them and actually prefer them sometimes, depending on the situation).

My youngest is 18 and will start his Senior year this next school year. My oldest turns 20 tomorrow, he smokes and I've gave him a couple of batteries etc and he likes vaping but to him it is too much trouble to just bring it to mom for a recharge, refill and maintenance. He can't be bothered right now. I've talked to him until I'm blue in the face. My husband has quit smoking and starting vaping two weeks ago. He quickly moved from the G6 to the Triton. He only smoked a couple of cigs at night so 1 Triton battery with a tank has lasted him all week. LOL

Thanks, Amy!

I highly suspect you are correct regarding the upgrade! I am probably going to research a few more threads first, so as to get up to speed. There are some great threads here, and it seems that virtually all of the experts here have really made the decision easily and never looked back. I could see still using the G6, though. I have my own office at work, and it is rather private, so I have no real reason to be overly discreet, but, for some reason, I just LOVE the fact that the black G6, when paired with the smoke tanks and black drip tips, looks almost exactly like a black gel pen, which is my pen of choice that I've been using for years. Thanks for your input, and it is nice to meet you!:)

Good for you husband! :thumb: I think that no matter how much, or little, one smoked, it is always a fantastic decision, both bodily and financially, to make the switch. I hope that your older son can be converted! When I was his age, I was admittedly rather lazy, but got over it, eventually. Also, maybe he might be converted eventually if he notices how few women like the smell of cigarettes on their man! Just go on any dating site out there, and the evidence is clear. For me, that reason alone, I would do much of anything!

That is pretty much my work situation too. I share an office with 5 other ladies, but I am considerate with my vape, I don't blow clouds, and never vape while conversing with them, or when other employees come in. I don't think technically I am allowed to vape there, but we are in an annex building way at the back of the main building, and we work strictly on the phone, no walk-in customers. My office mates have told me they're fine with it, and that they didn't even know I was doing it until I told them. I use either the G6 or a 400 Triton, and yes the G6 does camouflage itself on the desk by looking so pen-like. If you put a carto on a Triton with a cone it resembles a fat ink pen as well.

Welcome to the forum Cherokee!

Same exact scenario here. I used to love my G6's. I thought I was satisfied. I never planned on breaking away from the cig-a-like. On a whim I ordered 1 Triton battery, 1 tank, and the charger. That was 7 months ago. I haven't used the G6 since, and still have no desire to get into mods/RDA's, etc.

Cherokee, you have some research and reviews to look up. I spent 2 weeks watching just about every video that popped up in a search on youtube and ended up here. Hell, I registered on ECF just to see a picture attachment. I never ever planned on posting. But the Halon blood runs strong.

IF however, you plan on going with the Triton, since you're not worried about being discreet, I would recommend a 1300 which is separate from the starter kits. It offers 2-3x the mAh's of what comes in the Triton starter kit. Or you might consider what many people swear by- the VV, which gives you the ability to be a voltage control freak. ;)

Thanks for the input, Amy! We are quite blessed to have the work situation we have. That is also really nice that your office mates are fine with you vaping. The few other attorneys I work with have no problem with me vaping. One caught me yesterday, and thought I was smoking, but I had to explain it to her. She was thankfully cool with it. They all know that I am going through a tough time in my family life, and saw me take up smoking again about three months ago to calm my nerves. So they all think that this is a much smarter and healthier alternative. The last time that I really bought a pack before this was when my beloved dog, Cherokee, passed here years ago. I still miss him every single day, and say his name aloud several times per day. I pray to God above that He invites our furry friends into the "big dog park in the sky." Welllll..... I sure got off topic fast!! Great to hear from you.

Hi, GreenLeaf. It is certainly good advice to do some research, but, like you, I suspect that I might just get my compulsive on, and buy a Triton starter Kit. The price is not really too prohibitive for me. However, it would be smart to bide my time, if I can restrain myself!! Also, I have really been liking what I've been reading about the VV though. But I will really have to give some thought as to whether the size will be just too much for me. Thanks again!
