Quick question. Currently I use AW IMR 18650's that are a year old in my Hana and I find that the battery life is pretty bad. I am also attributing this to the fact that I am vaping at 20 watts exclusively. But it just seems like it should last a little longer than it does.

Which AW, the 1600 or 2000?

I also have 2 MNKE 18650's that are only a couple months old. Will these work in my Hana? I'd like to try them out if possible.

Should work fine but might even underperform the AWs.

The AW's are the 2000.

I guess the question is, what are you expecting out of them? At 20w you are hitting them consistently in the 6A range with a peak near 7A ... and depending on how the past year has been for it, it could be significantly degraded. AWs do degrade like all other batteries ;)

Also the 2000s aren't the best battery under high load situations. As we can see here: http://www.dampfakkus.de/akkuvergleich.php?akku1=66&akku2=99&akku3=&akku4=&akku5=&akku6=&a=5

Even at 5A the 2000 is sagging significantly under the PD2900, which in a regulated mod like the DNA20 means it will see a higher amp load going forward. So it has a smaller capacity AND sees higher amps throughout, so even shorter life.

Just curious, what atty are u guys using with hana ? :)

Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

My Favorite right now is the Kayfun 3.1 I like a build around 2.0 ohm at vape at about 8.6 watts.

My last build on the Kayfun 3.1 came in at 1.2 ohm and I had to boost up to10.2watts.

Anything I have used from Evods to RSST perform better for me on the Hana than any other device.
the vape is consistent all the time and even the less expensive devices perform fantastic.

Kayfun 3.1 @ 1.3 Ω usually lives on top of my Hana set to 13-15W, but been running a Protank 2 @10-12W i just got in the mail since last night, and I have to agree. DNA20 just works :D

Coyote is that micro coil?

No, I have not tried those yet.

I am trying a new Hybrid Wick called Twick that is made from Ecowool with two pieces of organic cotton threaded thru the ecowool.

The idea behind it is you get the protection of ecowool on the outside and the wicking and flavor of cotton on the inside.

It does seem to improve flavor and hold up well. When you clean it you just rinse it off and hit the coil with your torch while it is still wet so as not to burn the cotton
but to just clean off the coils.

When you get it you boil it first and let it dry. And the first 1/4 tank or so seem to have an off taste but after that it is good. [might be something I am doing wrong]

If interested go to Ebay and search Twick and you should find it. He has two versions of it . Read and choose what you want.
