Hey everyone! I have been vaping almost 4 months now gave up the roll ups the day i got my Jacvapur v1p or whatever it was called. I soon realised I was gonna need somat bigger so went for the ego 650 from Liberty flights.
Its been leaked on from crappy clearos! come apart and i have soldered wires back together countless times! the battery only lasts about an hour... its been getting less everyday! misfires 50% of the time.

But i must say when i got it, it was great and for all of its faults (probably due to carelessness) its still working im off the roll ups and enjoying vaping! :vapor:

Welcome rich! I just started vaping myself about three weeks ago. Started out with a disposable from a drug store, bought a G6 starter kit from Halo and just recently purchased a Vision Spinner. I couldn't be happier with the Vision Spinner. The adjustable voltage is awesome! Some juices seem to need a bit more or less voltage to vaporize and taste right. Just one person's opion. YMMV. Good luck!

A good ego style replacement is the new iTaste 3.0 variable power battery. You can get it from Fasttech, or from Ivape https://ivape.net/index.php/iTaste-VV-3.0-Variable-Wattage-Device-Pearl-Chrome.html for $34.95 with free shipping. Currently, these are the top "stick" batteries. If you want something more, you're talking about an APV (advanced personal vaporizer). Many excellent APV's out there now. If you want to stay near where you are now, the kit below is recommended a lot around this forum:

http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

With this kit you can get several different variable voltage ego style batteries (to optimize your vape) and several different toppers. The eVod seems to be the most popular topper today, perhaps followed by an MT3s, both of which you can get with the kit mentioned above. I have many different juice delivery devices, but still find myself coming back to the eVod a lot. Certainly when I'm away from home, it's my goto topper. Anyway, welcome to ECF, congrats on getting here, good luck and vape on!

I have to agree with the Spinner Batteries. It's VV...can go from 3.3-4.8. It's what my husband and I started out on around 90 days ago...got us off Cigs and we really enjoyed it. Vaping on mine right now. He's moved on to the Vame V2..that 53.00 kit that was mentioned above..and he is in heaven right now with it! I've got one on order myself..but plan on using these Spinner batteries we have for different tanks of juices, so keep from having to switch out tanks on one device.

That Spinner is pretty much what I recommend to all new people..it really is great!

Hey thanks for the reply i will prob be going for a mechanical mod and somthing like a gen atomizer,I think they may be much more durable. Im still searching for the right one as I will have to buy 2 of everything because my other half also vapes. I liked the look and price of the ngp genesis but worried about the plastic tank! i have emailed the owner and am awaiting his reply.

I started with a disposable e cig from Smoking Anywhere about 3 or so years ago, moved on to the KR808 for a little and then got a Silver Bullet about a year and a half ago. Went VV and then just recently I got an RBA and went back to mechs. There's a lot of stuff to try out there.

your right tons of choice for every type of vapor! the silver bullet does look good i must admit. Is there a reason you went back to mechanical mods??

Hi I'm a forum noob too! I have been vaping for 17months. I use JoyeTech eGo 900 mAh or 1000 mAh, Passthroughs and Twist with V3 Clearomizers. Battery life is great and vapor is good too. I bought an eGo copy once and it broke and shocked the crap out of me, but the real ego's have been durable. Happy vaping:)

Im not into tube mods but for an inexpensive one I'd go for one that didn't have a permanent enclosed battery like EGO Epower 18650 Electronic Cigarette by SMOKTech

If you ever upgraded to a better PV the batteries and charger could still be used.

they look like a cheap way of upgrading. But i did once hear a bad story about one of Smoktechs mods somthing to do with no vent holes on a device so im not sure i can trust them

I understand if you heard something bad about ST. I have not and only bought this (@ a brick & mortar store in town) because I needed a PV while my REOs where out and missing in limbo by USPS:glare: I can assure I have had no problems or any kind of issues. I wouldn't buy anything but a REO if given the choice.

youll have to excuse me but is REO the same as a bottom feeder? it turns out there is alot more to vaping then i first thought and im trying to take it all in lol. the wooden one in the pic looks like it has a great finish

Not sure why the eVic gets a downcheck. I have used the whole array of devices from the convenience store crappy ecigs, ego type, and now several VV PVs. The eVic is pretty damn good. Some of the features are tech geek overkill (Vaping history? Nifty, but why?), but the Variable Voltage and Variable Wattage options are solid and make for easy vaping with various tanks/cartos/clearos/etc.

My only real beef with the eVic is the same one I have with most every device: they need to be water-resistant (oops I dropped it in the tub! &@%#&*#*!!) and shock-resistant (Oops! I dropped it on the floor! *&@^#$^#!!!).

The eVic has great battery life, gives you lots of customization options, is reasonably durable for an electronic mod, and looks great.

Buy a clip on mini mag-lite holder and you won't be dropping it as much or abusing it in a pocket whenever you sit down.
