Do not roller skate in a buffalo herd.

Also do not buy smok stuff unless you don’t care if it breaks.

I’ve never noticed a meaningful difference between 70/30 and 60/40 myself. A given recipe should be balanced for its ingredients. VG is said to mute flavors, but that is only roughly the case. It mutes some more than others.
Also, dont eat yellow snow. And never whittle towrds yourself or pee against the wind.

Welcome to the friendly bunch :)

I shouldn't worry too much about the ratio of juice...it is much more to do with the tank/RDA you are using that effects the flavour. 70/30 vg/pg is a common ratio and produces good coils but if you're using a pod you're better with 50/50....hope this helps :D

Tell me new I should know.
Welcome and glad you joined.
I find the main point to keep in mind is part of vaping is all about you the vaper, being in control whilst having the freedom to fix/tailor almost any aspect of vaping you feel you need to improve upon. If you use the ECF search function (upper right hand corner of this post) and attempt to find an answer, then ask your question if need be, most folks will appreciate your effort.

You should know battery safety #1 IMHO.

Also, while I am kind of enjoying this thread, a sort of "tell me everything" approach invites.... IDK you should tell us what level of vaping you are at so we can even FIGURE out what you need to know.

Tell me everything? Read the whole board and you will do fantastic. That is my advice, other than don't blow yourself up.

Welcome !
I suppose 60/40 better for taste as PG is the carrier more for taste than VG. It might feel a bit harsher than 70/30, but difference isnit that much, depends also on the style of vaping, mtl or dtl.
I never bought that carrier thing myself. VG carries flavor just fine. It merely does it somewhat differently. If it was true 100% VG juice wouldn’t have flavor. You DO need to treat 100% VG juice a bit differently as flavoring goes, but the stuff works fine.

ofcourse VG works, but its generally known the PG carries better, thats why most flavor companies base their flavors on PG and not VG.

4 of the strongest flavoured juices I have tried had no pg. Two of them were quite nice, one was a bit okay but not good right through and the 4th, a coffee, was too strong in taste and very much like a stewed pot of coffee taste, I didnt like it.
None of them tasted like store bought juices or home made juice with pg based flavour. They didnt have that "vapey sameness" taste about it, no crappy aftertaste that most vape juice has. Very natural and full tasting. The other thing I noticed about them was that rather than feeling dry in the mouth, nose and throat they seemed to feel "wet" while vaping and afterwards.
