But since I'm not allowed anywhere else as of now I'll have to ask here! :)

I started smoking Ecigs about a month ago and I love it!

However, I'm having some issues with my newly purchused Epower 1800mAH from katady, i bought it with a "510 Long Wide U-DCT - Dual Coil Cartomizer tank"

The problem I'm having is that if I use this cartomizer with the battery fully charged the switch button just lights up for about half a second and then the battry isn't responding untill I plug it into the charger again.

If I use one of the cartomizers I use for my AIO kit from innokin (Small battery) it works fine but the battery feels too powerfull for these and makes it taste a bit burnt tbh.

The Dual Coil cartomizer works fine with the small battery but ofcourse it drains it waaay too quick to be worth it.
the weird part is that it vapes just fine if I have the dual coil carto while the battery is in the charger..

Any ideas?
Im not to keen on the whole power thing so it might just be that this battery does not work with a dual coil?
Or might the battery be faulty?

Sorry if the post is a bit incoherent but this is my second language and I've been awake for faaaar too long!

Im not sure what all of that means but this is the battery I got: *Edit* Apparently I cant post links but this is the only info i get from the side/instructions in box:
Model:EPOWER
Battery Capacity: 1800mAh;
Input micro usb, dc5v 400-800ma;
Output usb DC 5v 420-800ma;

I cant really find any of the info you supplied there.
Cant find a serial or product number anywhere.. which is a bit.. odd?
By vendor do you mean the place where I bought it or Katady themselves?

Thanks!

Hi

You should be able to insert links fine. Unless you are using the ECF mobile interface - I think that's one of the many limitations of the mobile interface. I think we need a link for this one. I saw one product out there recently that kind of "borrowed" the Epower name though it's a very different type of PV from a very different company. Is this the box shaped thing? If it is I haven't seen many reviews for it yet.

First most - Hi and Welcome to ECF :)

I have not used the Epower yet, but I do want to add that some batteries do have trouble powering dual coils. FOr example - a 2.0 dual coil is actually two 4 Ohm coils working in parallel, so some batteries just dont have enough "umph" to functionally power them. This may be the case here. DO you have anything that is single coil and around 2.2-2.8 Ohms? If the power is to much for your cartos then moving the resistance to a *slightly* higher Ohm will probably fall into a more appropriate power zone for you.
