New here...loving the forum. Quick 901 question

Howdy, I'm new on this forum...but am active in other (non e-cig) forums around the internet...

Have a quick question about atomizers for he 901. I know that you can revive them using vodka, ultrasonic cleaners, etc....but when do you KNOW that they're done?

For example, I have 5 atomizers. two work fine with batteries or a passthrough. two of the other three work fine with the passthrough ,but not with known good batteries. One is hit or miss.

I'm placing an order today (once I determine the best deal/supplier) for more atomizers....but I'd hate to throw away atomizers that could be revived

This is what I do. I let them soak in a glass of Vodka overnight. When I wake up I take them out of the vodka and rinse them with water then let them sit for a few hours to completely dry. Then your good to go

I get my 901 atties from ValueVapor myself. The only time I decide they're really DONE is when I can't get a decently good hit off of them, even after cleaning them.

When you say they don't work with the batteries do you mean they don't work well or they don't work at all?

If they don't work at all you may be tightening your attys too much when you put them on a battery and have pushed the center terminal in the battery down too far for they atomizers center terminal to reach it on those atomizers.

What's strange is that I seem to get lots of vapor, but no throat hit...I'll try not tightening them as much and see how that works



I'm AMAZED at how quickly responses are posted here AWESOME....thanks for all the info everyone.


I'm going to try soaking them again in vodka (I tried for a few hours, then rinsing and drying them...but I'll try it overnight)

I'm in Northern Illinois...McHenry county...any chance you're THAT close? I'm looking for a storefront to buy things...most of the places around here are way overpriced (22 bucks for a 30mg bottle of juice...) compared to online...

Welcome to our group here and yes questions tend to get answered very quickly Just wanted to say welcome I am not familiar with the 901.

Advice I've had is to steep the atties in boiling water or boil them for a few minutes and then leave them overnight to dry. It doesn't work all the time or at all for some. A guy on the All About e-Cigs forum (UK) was playing with a 'dead' atty and levered out the bridge and it revived fine for dripping.

I've noticed that there's very little in the way of free shipping....any recommendations as far as where has the best (or free) shipping....specifically for juices
