Hello everyone. I'm new to vaping and I am so excited, also excited that I found a site with active people. I haven't smoked a cigarette since Monday, so I'm doing good so far. I went and purchased a Smok V8 Stick just yesterday. However it says the red light will go out when charged fully. I plugged mine up at 1am and when I got up at 6am it was still red. My question is, how long does it take to charge normally?

Depending on what charger you're using that battery can only hold a 5 amp 1 volt charger output anything greater can cause damage to your battery
And if you are using the right charger port it might take a little longer to charge I never run mine completely dead so I'm not sure how long it will take a full dead battery to charge just make sure that it's not getting too hot and if you are using the right charger and it takes more than 8 hours I would definitely take it in and tellthem that you have a defective stick because I ran mine almost all the way down and it took Maybe 4 hours to fully charge

What kind of charger port are you using look on it and see if it say 5v 1a your good anything greater than that can cause your battery to mess up

When I bought my V8 stick baby Beast they all told me to use a charger that's 5 v 1 amp anything higher than that could cause damage to your battery

I'm using a Stick V8 baby with a 2000mah battery, EU version.
They told you wrong. The charger itself is inside the mod, the wall adapter is only a power source. The charger built into the mod draws the amps it needs (or is supposed to at least), and the wall adapter will only provide what is requested. Using a higher rated wall adapter is better as it won't overheat trying to provide more amps than it can handle. An underrated wall adapter might overheat and fail.
