So, I've done a bit of research on here.
Unbelievable amounts of information.
But I THINK I got the general idea. (We'll see.)
Anyway...

I'm looking at the KR-808d.

It seems to have everything I'm asking for, I'm just curious about the following:

1. Where is the best place for me to get everything I need for the KR808? I've found sites that sell pieces, but not the rest?

2. What flavoring can I get for this that would be similar to the Marlboro 27?

3. Does anyone have anything bad to say about KR 808?

4. Unrelated to the KR808, but more of an e-cig question in general.
Is vaping after a cup of coffee as satisfying?|

This was my first kit ... Vapor4Life

Sure, there are critics of every PV out there. I've got two others (so far), the KR808 is still good for me.

There's a thread here somewhere about how the poster and some of the followups no longer enjoyed coffee after vaping for a while. I still love coffee, and vaping. Odd the way you put the question though. I'd always enjoyed smoking while drinking coffee, not just after coffee. :p

Yet another possibility, Healthcabin:

KR 808D-1 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

If you're looking to buy a LOT of stuff (more than about 120 bucks worth), you can't go wrong with them. They're in China, though, which is currently celebrating their New Year. So... if you're in a real hurry, this might not be your best bet.

"Do you know if they are automatic batteries? It doesn't say on the web site. (Sorry, I had to take out the link, it wouldn't let me post.)"

I have no idea. Your best bet would be to email the site, or check the owner's forum, here:

ECigSupply - E-Cigarette Forum

They have a 5 dollar off deal for first time buyers. Also, free shipping, if you buy like 60 bucks worth of stuff, I think.

I bought from them once ( got 25 901 atomizers  ) and had a good experience.

Oh during the cup, after the cup, while waiting for another cup to brew.
All of the above.
I'll always love coffee.
And my taste for it extends beyond my cigarette addiction.

I was just curious if it's still enjoyable with vaping.

Thanks all who responded, I really appreciate it.
This is a fantastic community.

One last noob question.
Will the cartomizers listed on the Vapor4life site work with the rest of the KR808d's listed here?
Yes, they will. V4L's Vapor King is a KR808d-1 so it's compatible with the parts you see anywhere else. (Some of V4L's parts have special features, like unique battery colors, a sturdier USB pass-through, and longer cut-off times on the XLong batteries, but the compatibility is the same.)

So you can get a KR808d-1 kit wherever you like and try the V4L cartomizers too. They do have the largest selection of prefilled cartomizers (plus VG cartomizers)...though personally I like to fill my own blanks, it's all a matter of individual taste.

Other good suppliers of the KR8 are LiteCig, GoodProphets, Electronic Ash, and ElectroNicStix. Nhaler's a great place to start too -- he has excellent liquid in sample sizes. Like tarkus said...lots of vendor options!

Have fun finding your kit. The KR808d-1 model subforum is a good place for more info and troubleshooting too.

I got my KR8 from puresmoker.com (they also call it an "ace"), pretty happy with it and the service. Not to mention they're only like 2 states away so I always get my orders in about 3 business days. They do sell only manual batteries, but I think I'm happier with them after reading about some of the issues the "draw activated" batteries seem to have with being activated by loud noises (did I mention I play drums?).

just fyi to kobudo--the auto batteries from V4L use a plunger switch, not a microphone, so that's not an issue, if you ever decide you want to try an auto.

Cool, I may have to try one out someday. The manual buttons can be a little less than responsive at times, except for the longer-life 380 mAh battery, which also has an orange LED rather than my preferred blue (or anything that doesn't look too much like a lit analog)... Pros and cons to everything, I guess.

i've shopped both Vapor4life and cigeasy for my parts for my KR8. Both were very reliable, dependable, and customer oriented. Any kit you get should include at the very least 2 batteries, one charger, and 5 or so cartomizers. You might want to order extra cartomizers from the get go so you don't get stuck without any juice (i made that mistake until i got my stash built up) All the suppliers on this forum are pretty well the same when it comes to delivery times and product quality.

I just got some carts from V4L for my kr808 I purchased somewhere else and boy is there a difference!

Was getting hardly any vapor and very dulled down flavor with my original carts, but WOW I get tons of both with the V4L carts. And the shipping was FAST.

Lovin' my kr808, especially the battery life!

Now I just need to get my juice in the mail to try and refill the carts to see how long I can make them last.

You made a good first choice and hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
