I'm new here and fairly new to E-Cigs. Both my husband and I have been vaping about a month now. My husband seems easy to please as far as e-cig taste goes but I'm having trouble finding one I like.
I used to (still do 1 or 2 a day) smoke Pall Mall. My problem is I want the nice throat hit but I don't want a lot of taste. I started with Green Smoke and their Absolute and really liked that but I'm looking to refill my own to save money. I bought Halo's tobacco sampler wasn't really pleased because I don't want a lot of taste.
Is there something out there with a good throat hit and no taste?

If you don't want any flavor, but you want throat hit, my best advice would be to try ECblends. They'll pretty much make up anything you want, to order. The prices are very good to. Remember, though, throat hit comes from the nicotine, not any flavor.

Or, you can make your own juice. If you don't want any flavor, all you need is VG, PG and a nicotine base. Best prices for that, and any measuring supplies you need are at Wizardlabs.us. Download a program called Ejuicemeup and visit the DIY section for instruction and help in the safe way to handle raw nicotine. You can get it in as low as 24mg concentration, so at that level it's not particularly dangerous. They'll also tell you where to get flavorings if you want some. I DIY and it costs me about $0.10/ml. The flavoring is the most expensive part, so you could do it cheaper than that.

The cheapest, simplest way ever would be just to get a bottle of 48mg nicotine base in 100% PG at Wizardlabs for about $35 for 120ml., or about 4 ounces. Then mix it with an equal quantity of VG that you can get there for about $6. Boom, you have about 8 ounces of 24mg. unflavored e-juice at a 50/50 PG/VG ratio, for dirt cheap.

As sailor man told you, hit is given by nicotine but beware...maybe 24mg is a bit too much ;)
To have a better hit you could also go for an 80%PG and 20% if not full 100%PG ... but get ready to drink a lot of water!
Last but not least, if you plan on making your own juice, mint flavoring help a lot with hit...just one drop/ml of a good flavouring will increase the hit without adding much to the taste.

Throat hit comes from mint, nicotine level and pg. the less you have of any of these, the less throat hit. Try an ry4 or 555. Also try Koolio from altcig. It will give you the hit without any of the above. You can add it to any of your juices. I am opposite of you. I want a lot of flavor, 6mg nic and a 50/50 blend with a lot of throat hit. The only way I have gotten that is with mint or the Koolio
