I've been browsing this forum on a daily basis lately and I'm so undecided! Theres so much to learn! I currently have an ego t and its fine but I'm thinking I would like something else better. I have to drag long and hard to get the hit I need from my ego. I've read many suggestions up here but I'm overwhelmed trying to figure out which is for me. Since I've started vaping I've had no interest in analogs! I'm loving this and my children are so proud of me Unfortunately my husband hasn't had the same luck with his

Congrats on your success in quitting! I hope your husband sticks with it, some people have to work a bit harder at it for some reason.

I started with a cheaper e-go style as well, and I too was completely uninterested in analogs as soon as I started vaping. I also remember having to take that looooong drag to get even a slightly satisfying throat hit. My Halo Triton was definitely quite a bit better, and it's still going strong over a month later (I've had to replace 3 coils so far, I think one was a dud). Although if I had the chance to go back I would've bought an iTaste VV 3.0 or MVP starter kit, both of which I've heard nothing but good things about.

Naturally I am already planning on getting both the iTaste VV3 & MVP2 :vapor:

EDIT - Apparently I write too slowly

Welcome to the forum! I recommend an iTaste MVP 2 and a Kanger Aerotank. The MVP battery is built in and charges from USB. You can charge while vaping it. The battery will last me 3 days.
The aerotank is a clearomizer I have not yet used, but PBusardo did a great review on it and it is going to be the new hot clearomizer. If you can't find one you also get the Aspire Nautilus. Both of these are easy to fill, have replaceable atomizer heads and adjustable airflow.

If the box shape of the MVP is not for you, you could check out the Ego VV, or Ego twist. All of these are devices are variable voltage or variable wattage, that change alone will give you a much better vape.

I have a LOT of different batteries, and I still use my egos.
It sounds like ("I have to drag long and hard") it's the tank, not the battery.
As long as the battery is charged, it will work .. the tank ??.. now that's a different story as each tank is different.

The tank is what determines the "draw" not the battery.
I would suggest you pick up a Kanger Mini Protank.
First because the mini fit's the ego.
Second because it's glass and you don't have to worry about any of the juices "melting" it.
Third .. it's known for it's easy (or airy) draw.
Forth, you can rebuild it and it will last forever if you don't drop it on a tile floor

You didn't say what kind of tank your using now, but the mini protank should solve the problem of the "draw" your experiencing.

My wife and both started on ego's, I got a larger tube mod first, ultimately I ended up with the I taste SVD, and love it, recently got my wife a Vamo V3 and she really likes the way it vapes. I ended up liking it so much I ordered me one as well. We use either a hypertank or the aspire BDC and both put out a very nice vape. The larger mod is easier for me to handle and lasts so much longer on a battery than the ego's. There is a ton of options out there. If buying on line I would suggest using one of the many registered suppliers here on ECF.

Good luck

The egoT is the starter kit for me & mine too.

Before the first month was up we upgraded with the kanger mini pro ll.

Slots - what he said!!! everything, exactly.

Add-on

The egoT for you - get one mini pro

Check the 2 or 3 different ones recommended - have hubby pick one of those & you'll both be good to go.

I started with an ego and then moved up to a Vamo 3. I do feel strongly if you can go to a B&M then you can try different things and see which set up makes the most sense for you. I also say get the pyrex tank. My kanger lasted a week before it started leaking. It does cost a little more but it's worth it. I still have the ego as a back up and someday, when I can afford it, a Provari. But start with what works. Everyone is different and each person will find what is best for them.

Unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere and the closest b&m is about an hour and a half away. I am definitely leaning toward a Pyrex tank though, they seem to do better from what i've read up here. Is there a certain one you prefer?

Welcome to ECF! I agree there's a lot to learn :p I just started vaping as well, and i love it so I figured, might as well dive right in. Make the hobby a reason to never go back to smokes xD
Yup I already find myself drooling over some mods I've seen and I only started vaping a week ago lol. Got a lot to learn first though
