Redforeman -- you might want to mix your mgs -- I do. I keep a 12 or 15 mg on a passthrough at my computer, for chain-vaping, then keep higher mg stuff on my battery, for when I want the more analog-like "kick".

(A nice thing about vaping -- you can mix the flavors and strengths pretty easily)
Already doing that. When I feel like I'm overdoing it, I load a cart with 12 or 24mg and have at it. Or just step away from the PV for a while :).

The good news is that when I reach that point, I know an analog will just make me ill so I won't do that either.

I ordered 32 MG 50/50 pg/vg Nic liquid, and some additional PG and VG so I can play with the percentages a bit. Thanks for the link to the eJuice Recipe Calculator, I've saved it in my favorites and will use it often. I did also order some atomizers and cartridges to try that option out to see if we like it better. I'm stoked....can't wait to try mixing my own stuff.

I definately would say go for some PG.. VG is a lot of vapor and less TH and a bit less flavor (although some people say it doesnt change flavor).. A 50/50 mix sounds good to start or if you really dont care about vapor try 100% PG.

In my experience people who vape 100% VG only smoked lighter (<10 cigs a day) .. then heavier smokers need either 50/50 or higher PG to get the throat hit.. thats why mixing it yourself lets you see what you like!

50/50 is a good starting point though, you may even love it and just stick with that!

I found that the little sample of liquid I have is 50/50 and it is quite nice, so I thought that would work as a starting point. I'm glad you agree. BTW..what is the picture at the bottom of your posts?

Here is a side by side of the Ego, 510 and KR808D-1. from the bottom up, as you can see the ego is not all that much bigger but gives you more than double the battery power for the extra girth. Its not quite as round as a dime as you can see.

The ego, in my opinion is very stylish. It looks great and can be used either with the cone or without, using a 510 Atty, or Carto, with a 901 adapter and KR808D-1 carto. Either way.
One other config I use for a little more battery life is a KR808D-1 battery with a 510 adapter so I can drip with a 510 atty....you have choices. But I just got tired of lugging around a PCC and opted for something with long battery life and an extra battery...Here are some configs I have played with...

Picture Below From the Bottom Up: KR808D-1 with a Drip Tip on the Carto; 510 with Atty (or Cartomizer); KR808 with a 901 to 510 adapter with an atomizer (KR808 fit 901 threads); eGo with 510 to 901 adapter using a KR808D-1 Cartomizer; eGo with cone and atomizer with cartridge; my lazer pointer mod with 510 atty and drip tip; left to right: eGo cone, 510 to 901 adapter, KR808D-1 Cartomizer. Hope this helps.

Well they do have pink egos.....lol The tips are the same size as the 510 carts so it doesn't actually feel like your sucking on a stogy...lol just holding one..lol I've learned to actually be able to hold the ego like a cig....But like I said it's still not the same for me...lol

(I said it was almost the size of a dime :) )

Sue, I was just trying to elaborate a little more and give a better idea of the ego's size :) . When I received mine, I was blown away by how small it was because I never did see any pictures of it next to another. In the pictures for some reason, even the ones I saw in someone's hand, I just got the idea that they were much bigger. Thats why I said earlier, that had I known, I'd have opted for the eGo Mega or XL because it is only slightly longer and you get alot more battery life.....if you do a search on the suppliers forum you will see some "Skins" if you want to dress it up some.
I do get quite a bit more battery life using the KR808 battery. That may be a happy medium. The PCC for the KR808 is much less bulky and is nicer than the 510 PCC, and for like 4 bucks you can buy a KR808 adapter to fit the 510s. The draw, taste, and vapor of a KR808D-1 are significantly different from the 510. I like the 510s better, some Cartos have a bad taste in my opinion.

Thank you, glad to be of assistance. I tried vaping over a year ago and never thought to look on the internet for options much less a community. It did not go well and I walked away from it for a while, then I started researching and read and researched alot. Everyone is different and has to find the "sweet spot" or as in my case "Sweet spots" that suit their taste and lifestyle.
