Hi All,
New to the Forum. My Wife & I have been vaping for 5+ years, used it to quit Smoking- it worked for both of us.
I have tried/used numerous devices through this time. Most recent the Nebox which is OK, used Aspire Nautilus for many years (wife still uses these). I realized I needed more Air Flow so I recently purchased the KangerTech Arymi Gille Kit - really don't like the tank, the Mod is great but the tank leaks (out through Air Flow vents), and gets hot just after a few hits. Also, recently purchased an Aspire Zelos - it is an OK pocket vape. My favorite flavor (don't know why) is Pumpkin Spice and 2nd is Black Cherry.
So, Hopefully someone can help me decide what Tank to purchase to replace the Gille. I would like adjustable Air Flow.
Also, another question - can I use any Brand Tank on the Arymi Mod ? Other than Kanger ?
Look forward to learning and hopefully some suggestions on my issue w/ the Gille Tank.

Thanks, Take Care.

You can use other tanks on the KT mod, as long as they're the correct coupling (I'm assuming your tank is a 510 coupling) in which case you can use any compatible type tank, which is kinda industry standard now, I guess.

Are you looking to sub-ohm with this tank? If so, I'd recommend the Aspire Cleto though people are also saying nice things about the Cleto 120, I think it's called? The Aspire Cleto wouldn't leak if you took it on a journey to the top of Everest, tucked into your boot. It also has highly adjustable airflow and topfill and it's a large sized tank. I really like aspire products, and although I use the Nautilus 2, for the most part, it's great for situations where I want to absorb a lot of nicotine, like prior to a long meeting.... If you want an inbetween tank, the Nautilus 2 is great and you have your choice of coils (1.8 all the way down to 0.7) so you can experiment. That said, the tank is only 2 ml and if you fill it to the top it will leak, as well as not having the greatest airflow options, and you have to close off the airholes if you don't want it leaking in your pocket/wherever. I'd also recommend NOT filling it right before you leave the house, you may get leaks.

Can you provide some more information about what *kind* of tank you're looking for in replacement. That might help others make suggestions.....

Welcome.

Anna

The Arymi tank was a disaster in the UK. These things happen (we are all guinea pigs) and you just move on with a new tank on the existing mod. Today, for example I am using a simple iJustS tank on my mod. It's nothing fancy and the airflow can only be controlled with a silly vape band type thing but it's working very nicely. I find it more reliable than the more expensive Melo 3.

That is a well made MOD with a 510 connector. I picked up one on a closeout sale. I am retired and on a short budget. Liked that MOD but gave it and one of my favorite Tanks to my daughter for her birthday. She is just quitting smoking so not into lung hit yet. I love the Gille tank I have and have never had any leak problems with it. Lot of people do not like that is does not have adjustable air flow but it is just right for me. You should contact Kanger about the leaking problem. They are a big company in aping I do not think they want unhappy customers.

If you can shoot me a private message about the leaking problem I will try to help you with it. I am in to the DIY side of vaping and would be glad to help if I can.

One tank I love is Ijoy Reaper Tank I had 5 gave one to my daughter with the Arymi MOD for her birthday. It is great for heavy MTL to medium direct Lung hits. I carry one with me most of the time They are $20 on eBay and $14.50 on heavengifts.com and they have the coils for $10.90 a five pack. They last me several weeks running at 30-35W and I am a chain vaper. Unlike my Arctic-V where the 24 wire coils are over $20 a 5 pack. Still less than Smok TFV’s. Anyway that should give you an idea on prices. As I have seen some site that still want $29.99 for the Reaper.

Also, Welcome to ecf. I have not been here long myself. If I confused you with my answer do not be afraid to ask me to clarify, I have to ask myself to do that often.

Vape On!
