I know! Same here! Hopefully they'll have more by next week.

They had 47 when I first looked again. 46 when I ordered two of them. And then once people in the U.S. began to wake up the next time I looked there was 4 before I went to bed (Thailand). By the time I woke up they were out of stock, as I expected. My guess by the way these are selling more will be in stock by Wednesday. Keep checking.

Ok so mine came today. Rubber buttons which after releasing the fire button it still fires for about 1 sec. Same PWM problem as other devices which fires a much higher voltage than it's display voltage. But it has extremely clear screen which I love it.
Just to add on this thing feels really solid

Hold down the "+" button for 10 seconds. If it displays "001" it is set to AVG. Release and then hold again for 10 seconds and it should change to "002" which will set the device to RMS. See if the one you got has that option. On RMS it should be more accurate.

Yes it does have the feature and hey I'm actually quite surprised that it worked. What does it actually mean by the first setting?

001 = AVG so that it works like a regular PWM device, aka VMax beast mode or a ZMax v1 in VW mode.
002 = RMS so that it works like a ZMax v2 so that the settings are close to being what you set is what you get.

Did you get yours from HC? I have two coming, one for me and one for my brother. Knowing that it has the RMS mode makes me happy. I ordered them while they were still in stock. It cost me 1/3 the price of my ZMax v1. If this device has longevity it is a great mod at a super low price. Plus, I don't think it is as ugly as people say.

Yes I got mine from them and I'm considering to get another. It's really worth the money spent and the whole feel to it is really solid unlike the lava which is really light and feels cheap. Just look at the screen of this device :D

They are out of stock again, but I suspect by Wednesday more will be in stock. Very happy to hear that it has the RMS function. I asked in this thread but did not get an answer from HC. I think HC is not aware of this function yet.

Guess I'll wait a little while and see how this device works for me before getting another one for a friend. Right now it's the buttons which are stopping me from getting another one immediately.. I've got to push it hard before it actually fires, and if I release just a tiny bit it stops firing. Also afraid that the rubber buttons might wear off easily :glug:

Jus curious, does the iphone centre button round "sticker" fit the PV power button?

The center button is a little smaller than iphone's button, and I would advice you not to stick it on the button as firstly, it is made of rubber which I believe will be very sticky when you remove the sticker and secondly, the button is not exactly flat it is curved to a certain angle :)

Glad I ordered two when I did. The mfr must be getting slammed due to low price and capabilities of this device. There is a coop for it being formed but the HC price with discount is already at or below the coop price with shipping, fees, etc. Don't forget to use discount code "ecf" for 5% discount when you order, or "ecf08" for 8% discount for orders over $100.

for those that received a unit, was the buttons black? also are the button issue similar to the lavatube? it would drive me nuts if the buttons get worse over time and eventually stops working

They are black, unlike those in coop which are red. As I mentioned before, the buttons are made of rubber, and when released it still fires for about a second. Have a clicky feel to it.

According to your URL they will be releasing a metal button version on the 18th of Nov....Dammit of course this happens when I buy one yesterday

How are you liking it so far? Can you squeeze protected 18650 in there? can you give us a mini review/opinions?

These type of mods have built in protection through the PCB. You do not want to use protected batteries in mods like this. Protected batteries should be used in purely mechanical mods, but not in electronic mods such as this. The batteries built in protection can interfere with proper operation of the mod. Also, "squeezing" in a longer, protected battery puts unnecessary pressure on the PCB which can lead to device failure due to a broken solder joint.

The price I saw was 39.00 pus 19.00 shipping which is 58.00 total. Is this correct?
