Hoping someone here can help me out. Tonight I broke down the Noble 1 cleaned everything and put back together. Recoiled using 28 awg 4/5 wrap on the same wick without juice in the tank and it didn't fire. Tried it a couple of times then took out the battery which was red hot (AW IMR) . Recoiled it again doing a 7/8 wrap same thing happened. I reassembled it exactly how I broke it down. Before I have a battery explosion thought I'd see what could be going on here before I tinker further. Ive never had this happen to me before while using RBAs.

Sounds like you have a short issue at the center post. If any part of that post is touching the body, its a recipe for disaster. Check the nut on the underside of the Atty section.

Am slowly falling in love with my first hybrid!

Very nice. I just must ask...that last pic, is that a led light or just something from the camera? If it is a light how n where'd u add that

The nut at the bottom is flush with the bottom of the atomizer. I did notice when taking the center post out that it had a black rubber sleeve section around it. Not sure what the purpose of that is. Left it on though . Sorry if this is a stupid noob question.

Try tightening the but a bit more so the pin protrudes slightly from the bottom. If its flush, your nipple top battery is likely making contact with the body. The rubber sleeve is for isolating the center pin from the body.

im noticing some ejuice leaking on to the top of the battery. would this fix solve that issue as well?

Those o rings have to be just right... In particular, the top o ring. It has to be just right...not too loose but not so tight that you see the o ring starting to push out from the pressure.

Having the post protrude from the bottom a bit does two things, eliminate shorts, and stop battery rattle.

Does anyone know if the ZAP quartz tank is the same size as a noble 1? A friend recieved a noble 1 today and broke his tank while assembling it. To add insult to injury the nible 1 vendor is out of replacement tanks.

I've tried it... They fit, but the fit is tighter than the Noble 1 tank. The zatty quartz is slightly thicker.

Hey guys, quick question. I have a Noble #0520 and it looks like I can't take the atomizer out. Is this a new design?

The only difference: anodized or non anodized. Take your glass off, and get out an old jar top twister, or something rubberized, and give it a good torque. Mine came really tight too.
