Have been using my new iClear 30s for about 2 weeks and agree with 2 things already mentioned in this thread:

1. It takes 2-3 tankfuls to really get "going". When I first loaded it I was so disappointed with the amount of vapor I almost threw it out the window.

2. It "needs" (and tolerates) higher Wattage. On my iTaste V3 I use about 7.5 W on most of my clearos but the 30s seems to work best at 10.5W.

Interestingly (since this tread started out discussing removable tips) the "Authentic Innokin iClear 30s Dual Coil tank" I got from fasttech ($9.84) came with the big, heavy, metal "rotatable drip tip". But is unscrews easily and about 1/2 of my 510 Drip Tips fit it very well (with no adapter needed).

I Have had many different tanks from an Artemis DCT, Evod BCC, Protank2, iClear 30 and now have been exclusively using the iClear 30S for 3-4 months now. Started with the Sigeli V3 which just died on me and recently bought an iTaste SVD. I am very pleased with the 30S even compared to the 30. The length of time for the wicks to fully wick all of my juice to get wet was a little different but I usually just fill up and turn my tank on its side and spin it around, it really speeds up the absorption. I had always hated the way the Vivi Nova wicked, I had a persistent burnt wick taste no matter what. Was finally happy with the iClear 30 for a while but that faded away because I couldn't get great flavor unless it was filled to Max, so naturally that got old, plus I still had leakage problems which wasted a lot of juice. Also, I hated the ridiculous process of changing out the wick on my 30.

That said, I love the my 30S it has the best of both worlds to me - dual coil wick/carto package, which is a very fast change out. I also much more enjoy the airy hit, I was never a big fan of tight draw tanks which is why my Protank2 is sitting in a drawer.
However, I would love to find out where to get a regular drip-tip. Not crazy over the swivel-tip
